Good job Christ Alone... I started to sense what you're doing on the first page.

You kinda worked from the angle which is the very reason why I don't delete comments from JW's on my YouTube videos. I do believe their comments which they believe are going to show everyone the "real truth" are what will convince the average don't-know-jack-about-the-JW's that they are, in fact a cult. I often wonder if it's what they say (as well as the apostates) that's an underlying reason for the WTBTS' demonisation of the internet in the first place.

Would you give someone 5 years of life instead of everlasting life? You would need to be speaking with someone who can reason on this first of all.

A JW would start from the false premise that a 2-5 minute magazine presentation could lead to everlasting life. Based on that they will say the prospect ( notice there is no promise ) of everlasting life is more important. If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for life. While that is true, there is nothing wrong with feeding that man AND teaching him to fish. Would Yeshua give a tract to a homeless man when he had the circumstances to help in the present also? Jw's would help the poor if the leadership would allow and encourage it. They are so hung up on the " powerful works " of cranking out literature that they essential say " keep warm and well fed ". A GB member would have passed by the " man who fell among robbers " in the good Samaritan account, turned around and put a " All suffering to end soon " tract in his hand for him to read when he woke up. Or just sat across the road with their new rolly-cart literature set up.

I want to ask you something CA (in your apologist hat)...

in the latest WT it says that they have never claimed to be inspired.. yet the second baptism question says 'God's spirit directed organisation'...

    what is the difference?

It also shows people of the world that we are taking our commission to go door to door seriously.

Well on this point CA. I have questions for you....

How does turning in a report show people of the 'world'(Loaded language) that you're taking your 'commission'(loaded language) seriously? Do you show them the reports?

    No?

Is it because they see you out trapsing along?

    Yes?

Then you can go out on 'the ministry'(TM) without putting in a 'report'(TM) and you'll still have given a 'witness'(TM).

Honestly..........no BS...I was an elder.......what would happen if you didn't turn in a monthly report?

John 13:35 has nothing to do with religion, true or otherwise. It identifies Jesus' disciples as those having love. Slandering Christians, as JWs do, is not a display of love, so when they do that they are excluded from being one of Jesus' disciples.

To understand what true or pure religion is, James 1:27 is what you want to look at.

27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

So if the Watchtower wants to lay claim to being the true religion, they must demonstrate that they are making provision for the orphans and widows. Where are their hospitals, orphanages and food pantries? They must also be unpolluted by the world, with no UN membership, lawyers lobbying courts, or NGO associations. Where is their evidence of being a true religion?

kurtbethel --- right on! I was always spouting the James 1:27 to the witnesses -- blood and extended thru marriage. I need to carry on with this. Question --- in your opinion if it has nothing to do w/religion (and I agree) how can one be involved in this capacity other than thru service orgs (where self-aggrandizement, egomania, power tripping, is big time for many), etc. I'm not referring to Salvation Army and some reputable orgs. Have you discovered a religion that meets the qualifications -- anyone?

In this wicked world that we live in it seems that everyone is looking for a solution to the problems that we see around us. Some turn to politics. Some turn to science. Some turn to religion. Where in this wicked old world can we truly find answers that matter?

Facts or approved answers by the WTS that JW's are comfortable with?

Many have turned to the Bible for these answers. But with so many religions, how can we find one that actually teaches the truth about the Bible? The Bible has been around for thousands of years. We see thousands of religions that claim to teach the Bible. So where can we find an organization that actually IS teaching biblical truth?

    1. Are you positive the Bible is solely God's Word? Why is knowing and having a relationship with him contingent on where and when you live? What about the majority of mankind that never had a chance to read/understand the Bible? Oh, then Jehovah looks at their heart condition? Then why does any of this matter anyway? It matters not what I believe or what mistakes I make, because Jehovah can actually read my heart. Correct?

    2. NO religion teaches Biblical truth. Truth doesn't change. Religion teaches understanding. And the flocks that follow those understandings of men are on a dangerous playground. Do not put your trust in earthing man nor in nobles. The psalmist said that under Jehovah's direction. And Jesus said call no one on earth your teacher, or leader. Yet your leader, the GB, is your teacher. So being a JW conflicts with Jesus' words!

Fortunately for us, God's word prophesied that there would one day be a people called by his own name. (Is 43:10). Who is the ONLY religion that bears God's true name, Jehovah? These people are a group of men and women that you come across every day. They are your neighbors. They work with you. They go to school with you. These people are non other than Jehovah's Witnesses.

    1. The name 'Jehovah' is pagan. It has a Catholic origin. It became the English word accepted for the Tetregrammaton, but it has man-made origins nonetheless. Would you eat a lollipop found in the gutter?

    2. There are religions that are based on Jehovah's name. I'll give you one to start with: Assemblies of Yahweh. Never heard of them so God must not be using them? Yea, well less than a 100 mile radius from Bethel, or God's Headquarters, many never heard of JW's. And the further out you go, the worse it gets. And those that have heard of the name, don't even know what you teach. Do you even believe in Jesus? That's not what my neighbor told me... I actually witnessed around Bethel a few years in case you were wondering...

Jehovah's Witnesses are united in the same teachings throughout the world. What is taught from the Bible in the United States is the same information being taught in the tundras of Africa. These men and women teach the truth from the Bible. They believe that they have the only true religion. Why? Jesus Christ certainly didn't agree that there are many religions that are acceptable to him. He said in Matthew 7:14 that only a few would find the road to salvation. Jehovah's Witnesses have found that road! How do we know?

I thought only Jehovah knew that! Jehovah looks at hearts, not religious affiliations, right? Or do you now have to backpedal and try to come up with a politically correct answer?

One reason is the identifying mark of a true religion that Jesus gave us. John 13:35 states that people would recognize the true religion by the love that it shows. What are Jehovah's Witnesses record? As Jesus showed, true love comes from teaching others about God's Word. No one is teaching the truth about God's word to the extent that Jehovah's Witnesses are. We preach in 236 lands worldwide! We publish Bibles and bible based literature in 540 languages! There are over 7 million of us serving each other in love in over 109,000 congregations!

How else do we show love? We REFUSE to go to war. Many religions do a work of caring for the sick, elderly, and poor. However, what happens when the nation goes to war? They go and kill their neighbor. Jehovah's Witnesses do not do that! The Bible teaches that we are to have no part in politics or worldly affairs of the nations.

Lol. Love. You only show love if I believe as you. Any deviation and I am kept at arms length at best. Even if I lived my life as a God-fearing Christian, if I didn't worship the GB as my savior, no JW would give a crap about me. I know that from experience, Because that's how Jesus acted. Killing neighbors? Of course not. Except, when you mistake the context of Acts 15:29 and think somehow Jehovah is more pleased with the symbol of life, than life itself!!!

Ask yourself a few questions in order to see what the true religion is: Which religion teaches its members to overcome political, racial, and economic barriers that divide people? We can easily answer that it is Jehovah's Christian Witnesses that do this!

I've been in hospitals that do this, science does this, companies do this. Do they have Jehovah's blessing? And yes, other religions do also.

Which religion has a reputation for upholding the Bible's high moral standards? Again: Jehovah's Witnesses do!

No, which religion has created entire libraries of books that supposedly state what they think religions should be doing, even while knowing their own adherents do a terrible job at it?Jehovah's Witnesses do!

Which religion encourages people to study the scriptures to see if what they are learning is really true? JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES!

No you don't. Read the Bible, yes, but accept and teach what the Governing Body says the Bible says. If you come to a different understanding keep it concealed or else, you are an apostate not following Jehovah's direction. Even if the GB teaches something opposite what they teach now, you have to go along with it. But somehow, you have to view both as truth dependsing on when you believed it. No matter how stupid or insane, you have to wait on Jehovah to change it. So you don't study the Bible, you study the WT articles, the thoughts of the GB.

Yes, in this troubled world, we can find help and support and HOPE within God's TRUE theocratic visible organization.

    LOL!

The crazy thing is JW's have cannot answer questions directly. When faced with a question you have 2 options.

    1) Be honest, but look crazy. Because it actually is crazy. You know it's crazy but you gotta preach what the GB says.

    or

    2) KNOW what the answer is, but ignore the issue to find a more comfortable topic. Or find a random scripture to combine in order to make sense in your own mind.

    or

    3) Have some integrity.

    BTW, CA, I am aware...

Christ Alone : The word organisation doesn't exist in the Bible .Jesus is not very much into organizations since he said that two or three gathered in his name are enough to have his attention .Go and worship your GB idol ,they don't have much time ,soon they will face their Lord ,he is not very forgiving when it comes to hypocrites .You are yourself by blindly following men and not your Lord and Saviour Jesus
