unstop, you are caught in a logical loop. You you god is real because the bible tells you, you know the bible is real because god wrote it, you know god wrote it because it says so, you know god is real because the bible tells you....etc., etc..

I don't think anyone can PROVE God exists but then I don't think anyone can prove he doesn't either.
We are agreed on that.
However there is a mountain of evidence to consider. Its sad when people hide from evidence that threatens their beliefs.

punk, it makes me sad when she says with a rear in her eye. that she has thought about all these issues. I was there when she spoke to Lloyd Barry, a lovely man by the way, saying she could not understand why animals ate each other. Lloyd gently reprimanded her, he said "I've seen people go out of the truth asking questions like that"
Sorry if this seems like a hi-jack, it is probably just a little side street.

Christians often had rude behavior without the intent of being rude, like all the times I was told I was going to burn in hell because I am an unrepentant sinner. TO a Christian, you're just being nice and trying to save my soul. In reality, you're being very rude.

Wow! Closed minded obedience at its best worse.

I think a fair question is WHY should God prove Himself to you?
Well, he either wants us to believe or not! He either wants us to worship him or not.
I chose not to worship an imaginary personage that I have no evidence in the existance of until said evidence is irrefutible to me.
That choice is not made out of me being evil, antichrist or rebellious, it's because god hasn't bidden me in a REAL way.

I received my proof of a spirit life after death. My hope is that, you too, might personally receive the answers ye seek.
--In 1999 I was in bed asleep and I had a dream- my father and I were shoping at a clothing store called Fazios, that I hadn't been inside since I was a boy (closed for many years). We were looking at some denim overhalls and in walks my mother and brother ( she died in 1991 and my brother had died five months previously). They told my dad, It's time to go. I stood in front of my dad and announced - Dad is not ready to go with you, he is staying with me- you need to leave, it's not time for him to leave,- I was very determined that my father not leave with them ( yes, I seemed to know they were dead)- They turned and walked out of the front door-
Immediately, I was awakened by the sound of my telephone ringing- it was the hospital. The nurse said my father had suffered a heart attack, he was unconsious and I needed to come to the emergency room asap- he might not live - I drove the two hours to the hosiptal and sat by his bed for the next 24 hours- he did recover and lived for another three years-
There is a spirit world, I don't know why, but I know it exists.

How is that proof of a spirit world, Moshe?

Cofty - Everyone who has ever called themselves a JW has succumbed to closed minded obedience. It is a treasured state of mind in search of "unity of thought", obedience to theocratic direction. "Listen, Obey and be Blessed", that song actually comes near to making me physically vomit.
I have decided to read George Orwell 1984 again, there never has been a better description of NW theocracy. If you take away the theos from theocracy you end up with a superficially benevolent dictatorship. The benevalence slips when it suits. Again I digress.
