shelby - I just thought this thread needed a little bit of appropriate music....

Good manners would tell me that it's probably something you should check with the OP about, dear CL (peace to you!), not me.

I am going to go on a limb here and suggest he said "WOW". You know, what he actually wrote.

Yes, and so I only asked after what he meant by that, E. As the words "are you saying" and "and that"... and the acccompanying question mark... indicate. You know, cause I didn't want to assume...

    it was going so well....

My apologies for my part in any deviation, dear P (and MsMGG). Unfortunately, history here show that so long as I comment, regardless of the nature/content of the comment... such is most probably going to take place. Apparently can't be helped. Sad that, IMHO.

    But, peace to you, both!

Of course. That's why you suggested what he meant rather than simply ask.

Not at all true. It's just when you try to claim hallucinations as evidence, make words mean things they don't and attempt to insult people (for example, by suggesting they are liars) and make yourself a victim by suggesting someone said something as an insult to you and refute it when they often never said the thing.

I see your disciples are learning your style.

You are making an accusation with no evidence to back it other than your own opinion. Again.

    Peace,

    Accusation? In what way?

I suggested what appeared to be the case but may not have been. So I asked. But, then, you know that, don't you, Slick -

Not at all true. It's just when you try to claim hallucinations as evidence,

That you choose to use a term that has negative, even derogatory connotations only serves as evidence to ME... of your fear. Of what you don't know. So, you have to put it in terms that you do. Unfortunately (for you), the only term you know... is negative/derogatory. You miss out on SO much by doing that, though...

make words mean things they don't

There you go again - accusing someone of doing something you yourself do, which is entirely "okay" when YOU do it...

and attempt to insult people (for example, by suggesting they are liars)

If I steal something... and you see me do it and call me a thief... I very well may be insulted that you do, yes. Doesn't change the fact that I'm a thief, though. Now, apply that...

and make yourself a victim by suggesting someone said something as an insult to you and refute it when they often never said the thing

If you want folks here to believe that YOU believe that, then by all means, continue to make that assertion. The truth of the matter doesn't need me to speak for it, though: the track record exists... and speaks for itself.

Curses. JUST when I thought your intelligence (if not your awesomeness) was going to win out...

EP, you do realize that I was talking to Cofty, right?

Not saying butt out; just making that clear from the get-go.

So... it is an accusation against the people he calls disciples of shelby... that they are disciples of Shelby; that they are arrogant; and also that she is arrogant.

But Christ is the one who stated that not all who think that they are christian actually ARE. " 'Lord, lord, did we not prophecy in your name... etc' And he will say to them... 'Away from me you evildoers, I never knew you.' "

When someone makes the statement that not all who claim to be, ARE... this is not a judgment against anyone. This is simply a statement that He taught. But common sense would tell one the same thing. Anyone can make a claim... that does not make their claim true.

    Peace to you,

    tammy

You make an entire position out of one word. And then you made a suggestion. I know that. I really don't like the name "Slick" since you made it up as a pejorative in an attempt to slur me when you were caught being dishonest. Please don't use it anymore.

That you choose to use a term that has negative, even derogatory connotations only serves as evidence to ME... of your fear.

You see visions and hear voices. It's not my problem if you don't like the actual medical words that describe what happens to you.

There you go again - accusing someone of doing something you yourself do, which is entirely "okay" when YOU do it...

I'm sure you have proof of that handy.

If I steal something... and you see me do it and call me a thief... I very well may be insulted that you do, yes. Doesn't change the fact that I'm a thief, though. Now, apply that...

I applied that principle to you. It fit like a glove. Wear it proudly. Or stop if you don't like your obvious actions being pointed out. No skin off my nose either way.

If you want folks here to believe that YOU believe that, then by all means, continue to make that assertion. The truth of the matter doesn't need me to speak for it, though: the track record exists... and speaks for itself.

I am not asking anyone to believe anything. You initial premis is flawed.
