Apognophos, have you seen some JW's? Nude JW's is not my idea of paradise earth.

Of course they show only one style of house; what jws don't know is that the WTS will only offer 5 house plans for everyone on earth to choose from.

Notice here and elsewhere the WTS never shows people moving into house of the people who died at Armageddon.

I always imagined that everyone would have to live within walking distance of the KH, have to bank time on community projects before they qualify for materials and help to build their house, that everyone will have to work in the community garden and donate 10% of what they grow to the local congregation. Does turning spears into pruning hooks mean that everyone will gather up all the guns/weapons to be used to make other metal items? Who knows how to do that? What about the bullets?

True, it may be that the job assignment we are given will be one we would not personally have chosen. We may not, initially at least, enjoy the hard work necessary to bring the earth to a paradise condition. It will require unselfishness on our part, too, since much of our effort will be directed, not toward our personal interests, but toward the preparation for and care of a multitude of resurrected ones, most of whom will have no knowledge of Jehovah God. Can you imagine the magnitude of work involved just in transforming the minds and hearts of these persons to new-order thinking? Any with lazy tendencies will not fare well then, for the warning of the proverb is: “The very craving of the lazy will put him to death, for his hands have refused to work.” (Prov. 21:25) So it may require us to readjust our thinking now, in regard to our attitude toward the work that Jehovah gives us to do at present and in the future. In that way we can look to the future with joy.

As to where we will live in the future paradise, it is quite possible that we will be assigned places to live rather than be left to choose them for ourselves. How well we will adjust to such an arrangement may be indicated by whether we presently are willing to go to the congregation or book study we are asked to attend. If we adapt to our assigned location in the New Order, it will quickly become “home” to us and we will learn to love it. This is the way missionaries come to feel about their preaching assignments even today.

Did this mean that man was to multiply, fill the earth, and then keep on multiplying until the earth was full to overflowing? No. When someone tells you to fill a cup with tea, you do not keep pouring until the tea overflows all over the table. You fill the cup and then stop. In the same way, Jehovah’s command to man, “Fill the earth,” indicated his purpose to have man comfortably fill the earth, and then reproduction of humankind would stop.

Having witnessed elders in speedos and large elder's wives in bikinis it would be even harder to take seriously any counsel being given by a naked person.

I was promised my "heart's desire" in the new system. Being "assigned" anything doesn't fit in with my ides of paradise.

Looking at the resurrection picture, I've noticed that:

    1. a woman is obviously in charge of checking if the resurrected ones come in the right order (sisters, great privileges are waiting for you!!!)

    2. looking at the schedule the woman has, it seems that there will be printers in the new order.

It`s so sad that none of the dubs will realize how thoroughly they get pranked by the WT.

snare&racket: They are promising the earth,in exchange for your time and money

They make promises that they cannot keep. In the real world that's known as fraud. Why is it different with religion?

It should be a illegal, because it's most certainly criminal!

I was expecting to be able to go off and do my own thing in paradise. No husband, no kids, freedom!

If it is just more of the same just no crime, sickness or dying why would anyone want to be there. That really is hell on earth!

The Water Babies by Charles Kingsley comes to mind when I see the kids swimming under water without aqua lungs does this mean the Watchtower Org. is trying to appear child friendly as part of damage limitation and to deflect criticism when they start the big pay out to harmed children ?
