I doubt it. They only managed to pull off the "invisible reign" thing because WW1 started that year, they have been dining out on it ever since.

I really think if WW1 hadn't started in 1914 the Bible Students would have fizzled out after Russell's death.

was 1939 not "momentous"? how about 1812? There have been lots of wars, why is 1914 set apart?

What about 1799? this was prophesied to be the beginning of the last days and many (including Russell) took this to be proof that prophesy was correct.

To the wise the WTS's doctrines have always been a fraud from day one, circumventing attracting doctrines that Jesus returned

and that the world is going to go through a great tribulation eventually ending up in Armageddon was the marketing scheme for

this religious publishing house. The Awake and Watchtower magazines were titled on that attracting premise.

The ironic thing concerning this organization is that after more than a century of making grand proclamations and nothing

happening to substantially support those doctrines, the public is become aware what was going on with this organization from

its earliest inception. You could say the public is now really Awake.

There is more evidence in pointing to 70 AD as being "what was expected by the WBTS in 1914", considering in DID happen within ONE GENERATION of Christ's time.

The mental indoctrination performed by the WTS. in their indoctrination centers, namely their Kingdom Halls,

is the reason why people are not aware that they are being indoctrinated by commercialized false doctrines, they consume and assume that the teachings

are honest and forthright as they are being presented.

Since there is so much propagating of how all other religions are false and theirs is more truthful together with

the constant postulating of the world coming to an end ( judgment day ), this has the effect of locking in the thinking

and dissuade critical thinking of these doctrines. Without this fear induced suggestions being implied, the WTS. never would have achieved its success

to the level which it had achieved world wide.

Keep in mind that the year 1914 was i big failure from 1915 until the beginning of the 1930's. Then rutherford moved Chrits invisible return from 1874 to 1914.

Jesus stated :

" The Kingdom is not coming with striking observableness , niether will people be saying , See here ! or there ! for look the Kingdom of God is in your midst !____Luke 17:20-21

Accordin' to Jesus, Nobody will be able to calculate his presence or when the kingdom comes

But the WTS continue to try and make Jesus out to be a lie

"Concerning that day and the hour nobody knows, niether the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father. For just as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be "____Matt 24: 37___NWT Bible
