If there is a God and he hates those that live with someone else while not married and he hates those that are lesbian or gay........then let him judge your friend. There is no reason for you with withhold friendship if you are not the judge of someone else.
If she is your friend then be her friend. Reconnecting with important people in your life helps when y0ou are on the outside too. The sooner you start the better.
