Jesus' words dignified the poor. He didn't rob them. The stories say he healed people and treated women well.

    MP:

So why did he forget to condemn slavery which was suffered by about half the people of the world ? Instead of condemning it , hes more worried about everyone paying taxes and being good little slaves.

Thats downright pathetic, Jesus was a Roman stooge, everything he said was compatible and helpful for their cause given the problems they were having with a rebellious Judea.

Even the story of travelling from Galiliee to Bethelem reenforces the idea of tax paying. Joseph like a good tax payer, risks his very much pregnant wife and rushes to pay his taxes. What an idiot.

Do you think Jesus WANTED any of his parrables to be turned into prophecies..( I'm not the first or last to misquote the bible)

.. so I noticed in the OP you don't think Jesus wanted what he got .. many religions claiming to represent him... and that paul is responsible for this .. did he not appear before and comand him to do so..

If it is not how Jesus wanted it to be, would you say his mission was a failure.. why doesn't he fix it?

Humbled I sent you a pm..

"There will always be poor people."

As expensive oil was rubbed into his feet........ What a disgusting person. Remember you believe he had the means to end poverty then and there. If he was a human saying that you would want to vomit in abhorance.... But because he is YOUR divine human, you pretend he was making a poignant remark.

maybe we are just very different people, you can have him and his teachings. I certainly don't want to live in his 'kingdom'.

-to what post is your comment directed? I went back to see former comments and couldn't. Is there a topic elsewhere that you meant to address?

I don't think anyone believes that. Jesus wasn't on Earth to do that.

Paul the apostles to the gentiles, did not see Christ, as starting a religion, but a New Creation, and fullfillment of Israel's goal.

    Romans 11

25 I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, 26 and in this way [e] all Israel will be saved. As it is written:

    “The deliverer will come from Zion;
he will turn godlessness away from Jacob.
27 And this is [f] my covenant with them
when I take away their sins.” [g]

28 As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies for your sake; but as far as election is concerned, they are loved on account of the patriarchs, 29 for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable. 30 Just as you who were at one time disobedientto God have now received mercy as a result of their disobedience, 31 so they too have now become disobedient in order that they too may now [h] receive mercy as a result of God’s mercy to you. 32 For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all.

    The cosmic Christ....New Creation..

“So if any one be in Christ, there is a new creation; the old things have passed away; behold all things have become new” (II Cor. 5:17, New Tr.).

    Ephesians 1:-

18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has calledyou, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, 19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength 20 he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, 21 far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. 22 And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, 23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.

    Shalom

I have already started another post where i challenge believers who say Jesus was predicted by the OT. I have taken a list from ChristAlone and addressed 4 prophecies and i believe shown them not to be so.

Your making grand claims, im sure if you examine your prophecies you will say none of them are talking about Jesus Christ. If your up ttry...

Jesus would have turned up to comic relief and took all the money for a fancy new boat "there will always be children that are poor, sick and dying."

He would utter it with a smirk before bombing off up the Thames with "Diamonds are Forever" by Kanye West blasting out of his boats expensive speaker system.
