Wow!! That video explains some very complicated ideas in an extremely simple manner. The ending is very disconcerting! Thanks for posting QC.

    Quantum Leap

Einstein dismissed this science. This dismissal causes him to fail to lock in on "The Theory of Everything", which is unification of the laws of General Relativity (world of the planetary stupendously large) with the laws of Quantum Mechanics (world of the atomic infinitesimally small). A blackhole is proof of this unification.

I'm going to watch that video later when I'm less distracted. I love this kind of thing, even when I don't understand it all. I like the feeling of little leaps of understanding that hint at something more. The universe is an amazing place. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you Qc, so we can watch PBS again.

Nowhere did I hear a refutation as to why time as a distinct 4st or rather 1st (or pre-existing) dimension could have not existed before the three other material-carrying dimension started moving through it (Time) at the big bang.

Of course, as you correctly said, space and time are tied together but were they always? or consider this:

During one second of timeflow, shortly after the BB, there was a very high frequency vibs. per second. today that same second contains a message from that past time that has a very low frequency, hence the picture of the plank sattelite survey. near absolute zero.

The duration of a second of timeflow has not changed, but space has stretched since then, and with it the radiation travelling through it. so: Space dimensions and their content travel or expand THROUGH time. all the time.

    Fascinating !

So basically, we understand a little under 5% of the Universe. We understand normal Matter, but Dark matter and Dark energy,

are not really understoood at all ?

have I got that right ?

It strikes me that there are no real "fixed" Laws of nature and Physics etc, the more we learn the more things change.

It may be that even the long established thought that there is a finite quantity of energy in the Universe that may change its form, but always adds up to the same total, may in fact be an error.

It could be that dark energy adds to the exisitng energy say, meaning that the expansion of the universe may go on for longer than once thought.
