All-or-nothing conclusions are inherently flawed. We are not all under the control of the "government" as long as the underground economy exists.
The underpinning, exchange for goods or services, is still there. There is an implicit agreement on what our services are worth.

the black market. and it's all about the money money money.
it is underpinned by crime, drug money, racketeering, piracy etc etc.
whose money is underpinning the finacial world at the moment. Crime money, lol, they are the only ones now that have any serious cash, apart from the supa rich. but on the whole.

The newer theories are focused on the end of paper currency and the RFID chip being implanted so they can track your movement all over and control what you buy . Makes sens to me . Only time will tell

i just heard something on the news. Some chip in Uk that has been already installed on passports, driving license and passports ( i think, didn't catch it all properly) big stink over there about the mass immigration.
They can't implement this chip track and trace thingy, cos of infringement of human rights ( i think, again, i have to double check it)
Few months ago, in another european country, fella in the bank wanted to set me up internet banking, I declined. '' oh, pretty soon it will be mandatory, it'll all be done electronically'' - WTF, lol

Anyone professing to be a Christian, would remember Jesus words, "Pay Caesar's things to Caesar..." It's very clear in this underground economy, Caesar is not getting paid his due tax, which puts the 'professed' Christian at odds against Christ and open for the government to come in and fine you for back taxes.
And I don't know how things work in Canada, but here in the U.S if you don't pay your property taxes, with CASH, the government TAKES your property and sells it for the back taxes due. When we sell items on Ebay, if we do not pay our sales tax to our state government then they take away our business license and fine us.
So truly, we are not free to use the barter system freely like you think we are. Most of that Bartering system is the Black Market as *Lost* so plainly explained it.
