@ cantleave: Fantastic view!
On my way to work in the mornings, I see the dubs standing at the bus stops with the mags...no interaction unless they're approached. I just see them standing or sitting down with the magazines in their hands...it looks like they're using it to block the sun..

Feel so sorry for them, my Saturday's are much more relaxed, walk in the country, lunch in a country pub and now chilling watching Wimbledon. Spent quality time with my children rather than worrying about how miserable they were looking on the service and what a bad witness it was.
Not bitter-wow! I used to watch Lost in Space too during the 90's, always after the Ministry.
Ha, we would always be out on a Sunday lunch-time just after the meeting. Very often I would hear the distinct rattle of cutlery being placed in the background.
How rude is that, to pester people on a Sunday lunch-time?
Wow! It is great to be out of that crazy religion and free, isn't it?
Wizzstick – The TV thing is very inconsistent. The WBT$ make a fuss over toy wizards and how it makes invisible sky twat ‘sad’ but then I know JWs that agree with this but then watch Merlin. As my USA cousins might say: ‘Go figure!’
iCeltic – The Gorn is far more exciting than the TMS.
Blondie – Good question. I found out that you are indeed correct. Although the convention is a long way away from my city (that’s a very costly journey here in the UK).
Not bitter – Grange Hill? Banned? What the….?
Darth frosty – It’s the WBT$ sat nav always sending out the wrong directions. They must have been taking the ‘overlapping™’ route. Never been to the USA so I only know of Detroit from Kiss and Alice Cooper.
Cantleave – Paradise is already here then?!?
Kool Jo - ….and I bet they’re counting all the time so that the elders™ won’t judge them worthy of death at Armageddon™
Nugget – I’m glad you’re weekends are grand. But hey, JWs will live to watch us all die horribly at Armageddon™…………NOT!!
Erbie – Oooh, the pain, the pain, Will Robinson.
Whathappened – Affirmative!
It's a lovely day out today. I can only feel optimistic that the GB will all suffer terribly for their crimes against us.......such a lovely day....such positive thoughts.
PunkOfNice...The 2 x 2 JW's that you knew, did not "know" you, otherwise you would be dressed like them and going D2D. You were not, so it probably never entered their minds that they know you. You are just a body, a worldly person, so I am surprised walking past you, they did not offer you the magazines. Some JW's are not observant at all. Their loss.

As for watching TV and that, my non-Jw parents restricted what we could watch, not because of religion, but because they'd rather us go outside and play.
Ha I remember when I was home one Sat with Dad at about 11 years of age and some JWs came to the door. My dad gave them hell as he always did, but this time there was a kid with them. Dad asked the kid, "Where would you rather be right now?" The kid shifted uncomfortably then said, "At the beach!" I bet he got hell for that from his mum once they left our door.
I can't believe I became one of them 7 years later!!!
LLLFS - I tend to agree. However, there was a kind of a look in their dead eyes of 'he's familiar...ain't he?'
Julia - We had an Austrailan show on before I had to get ready for the meeting(TM). It was about a motorbike cop. Solo One. This followed Space 1999. Then it was meeting time and my evening was ruined.
At the original thought: Yeah, you've changed. You're not out there with them... that's scary sh!t man.
As for the TV being missed... my wife still whines (born in)... at missing Saturday morning cartoons. Kids nowadays have it all... catch up tv / tv online / internet connection that will help them wake up before they retire. I was born too early.
