Well, yeah, she's a writer. She spent several years inside the head of Mohammad.

I think she's simply wrong that Mohammed would be a wishy washy liberal if he were alive today. He'd chop of her head quicker than she could utter the word ecumenical.
And don't you just love non-believers who think they can tell believers how to do their believing properly. Alain de Botton is another such one.

I think words and definitions are important. It's hard to comment on what she said because it appears that she was just making up her own definition of faith as she went without regard to the actual definition or even common useage. It's too bad, because she may have been trying to make some valid points.
