yeah -- we had a crazy "thundersnow" -- lake effect, gotta love it! parts of the city were without power for upwards of two weeks.

6years at the farm. I loved upstate New York. My geographical home. Back in Cali now.

Before moving to Oneonta, I lived not far from the farm (Pine Bush/Middletown).
I'd move back if the crime wasn't skyrocketing...

I know this is an old post, but in I wanted to re-emphasize: It was Don Nicholson who was the child molester. Lee Steele was an elder whose family members were molested by Nicholson. It was their testimony that led Nicholson to plead guilty and serve time in prison. David Tennent was also supposed to testify but was killed before the case went to court. Another elder did testify.
Also, Don and David weren't brothers-in-law. Don and Richard Nicholson were brothers. David's brother-in-law was Jack Ashenback, who I heard died recently.

When I made the last post, I forgot that it would be at the end of the thread and not right after the post I was reading. The post referring to Don Nicholson concerns his disfellowshipping and arrest for pedophilia in 1982. He was disfellowshipped from the congregation in Warrensburg, NY. Lee Steele was the elder whose family members were molested by Nicholson. It was because Steele was a retired state trooper that he insisted on pressing charges against Nicholson.
