We don’t have closed doors at Kingdom Halls; ropes to tie people into seats. We do this because we volunteered to become Jehovah’s people.
So this large family has this disfellowshipped relative and every year that have this great big family get-together. Sad to say: the disfellowshipped relative was invited every year. And the brother, the loyal brother, would not go to that family get-together. Never went for twenty years.
So finally he comes to his senses and he’s reinstated. So now that he’s reinstated, the family has the gathering, our brother went to the gathering. And the reinstated family member said to every one of them, all there in attendance: “the only one that was loyal to Jehovah was my brother. The rest of you were disloyal!”
I hope they repented. That’s disloyal. …Jehovah has affection for those who are loyal to Him. Jesus has affection for those who accept the torture stake. If you haven’t been loyal to the disfellowshipping decree, let that disfellowshipped one know you’re gunna change from today on and be loyal to Jehovah.”
