And a sister may be having her period and not be thinking clearly at all because of that terrible, deserved curse put upon her by such a loving creator. LMAO How can any female under the age of 75 go along with such demeaning crap?

Yes I know what you mean. Sadly those of us who didn't go along with it suffered terribly.

My husband was accounts servant for a while. He loved it in the beginning, right after being appointed a ministerial servant, because he got tons of positive feedback for 'reaching out.'
Months later, after all the praise stopped, he dumped the responsibilities on me.
In the beginning, he would try to balance the accounts, and then ask for my help after 45 minutes or so of struggling. (I am good at the "maths.")
As time passed, he would start pounding the kitchen table saying, "I can't figure it out!" after only 10 or 15 minutes of struggling, expecting me to come save the day.
After a while, I quit helping him, and I refused to make the deposits, another job he had shifted totally to me.
Eventually, he asked to step down so "he could spend more time with his family," from which he garnered a second round of praise for, supposedly, "put his family first." Of course, in reality, he didn't do anything more for his family after stepping down than he did when he was a servant. Same life: get up, go to work, come home, eat dinner, watch t.v. without talking or acknowledging anyone, go to bed. Repeat.
I complained about it to an elder once; he told me that one of the big "secrets" in the organization is that sisters handled most of their husband's spritual responsibilities.
Yeah...so done with that.

I knew a PO who got taken off by the CO because he allowed his wife to handle a lot of his work. The same wife also typed up the theocratic ministry school for the School overseer. Not come up with the schedule, just type it up from his handwritten one for use on the noticeboard because he couldn't use a computer, she got stopped from that job too and I ended up with it.
Apparently girls can't type either.

Perhaps not Laika; I got him in trouble too!
I was a lawyer-in-training even back then. I read all the corespondence related to accounts, and determined that while the congregation must send all its excess money back to headquarters, money needed for repairs was not excess.
Hence, I had my husband create "repairs and maintenance" sub-accounts in which I had him put money for future KH repairs. When the PO found out, he went ape sh*t crazy, saying the CO was going to have a fit because we were 'violating the rules.' He had to delete the sub-accounts and send the money to headquarters.
My KH was the most financially secure ever under 'my' tenure as accounts servant.

But talks would always say behind every good brother is a good wife... Surely that alone was implying that elders let your Mrs do your donkey work LOL

My congregation some 45 years ago had a sister as accounts servant. She had to read the monthly report seated in the audience.
