You play the piano Farkel?
That is an understatement. I saw/heard the Farkelstinkster play once. The sheet music had, well, as my kids would say "hecka" (well, okay, THEIR word has 'l's'...) notes on it! I mean, like bars and eighths and quarter notes... and lines and swoops... stuff that would make Beethoven nervous! And he played his little ole hiney off! As someone who can play little more than "Chopsticks", I must say... VERY impressive. You GO, Daddy-O, with your new keyboard-having self!
Oh, and happy B-day... may you be blessed with many more!
Your servant, friend... sister... and a slave of Christ,

Doug, I am so happy for you. More than that, I am happy for myself. I have wanted to hear you play the piano for so long now and will soon be able to do so.
Love you Hun

Farkel - happy birthday old son. Your posts amuse, entertain and have made me think. Very happy to hear that things are looking up for you.
In addition to Chopin and the classics, I definitely think you should write and record some original blues - you have paid your dues man.
All best,
Mak

Happy Belated Birthday, Farkel. (gads you were really born in '48!)
*wiping tears of joy away from my eyes* I'm glad things are looking up for you. It's awful that you had to go through such a low period, but I'm glad you have pulled through and hoping we'll be hearing more from you again.
You have inspired and helped more people than you will ever know.
I hope we get to see you in person and take you to lunch, ok or dinner, this summer.
Hugs,

Hello Farkel,
Please allow me to add my congratulations on your successful rise from the depths of despair to you new found place of contentment and peace of mind. I have read many of your posts for the last three years or so, but had no idea that your were in such a plight (I must have been away at the time).
Please keep up the posting. Most of us thoroughly enjoy and appreciate your unique way of expressing your clear and concise thoughts.
Warm regards,
Sam Beli

Farkel, your 54, can you marry me? I'm 55. (kneeling) :-)
Now that you have reach maturity... maybe, just maybe you will stop sticking your tong at us?
Oh, well, I guess I missed it all at H2O, but I'm here learning so much... mostly, like you said, finding true friends on this board. I never have so much to say when I post, but I read your posts... It could be I'm not an exJW. Never the less, I feel conected and welcomed. Happy Birthday! I hope to meet you some day. Blessings,
Yadira

(fortunately for me the canibals were mostly nice and christianised before i got to 'em .. but that didn't stop sly witchdoctors plotting or old chiefs licking thier lips at the sight of my young white meats lol.
