“ex jws think they are free. but they really suffer from cognitive dissonance and malfunctioning defense mechanisms--reaction formation, shadow, neurotic symptoms.”
Some may suffer from a time: it’s called CULT EXODUS. Of course there will be cognitive dissonance. This occurs when the bizarre reality the JWs have CREATED for its members, where they are the center of the universe and truth emanates from the SOCIETY, contrasts with reality in the REAL WORLD.
When I left, my self-righteous mother claimed that I still KNEW it was the truth: I just couldn’t APPLY it. I told her that I knew NOTHING of the sort. Like a good, brainwashed JW, she couldn’t understand how anyone could consciously and knowingly LEAVE the organization. Member exodus must be stemming from some SHORTCOMING on their part: the fault lies with them.
Classic cult 101!!!!
It takes a hellava lot more courage to live your own life then it does to follow the narrow dictates of a cult.
: We only answer to God, dear. That what hans kung say. He answer to no man. only God of monotheism. We do same. We do not suffer cd. We only here speak truth and set record straight about bowen. He liar, we true.
No no no! here is what you should have said, based on reality...
"We only answer to who we think is God, dear. That what hans kung mean when he say. He answer to men who told him who God is. We do same. We do not admit to suffer cd. We only here to speak what we believe to be true in our particular interpretation of da bible and defame the character of bowen, who dared to scream foul when we wouldn't do anything to da molesters. He true, we liar."
It's quite evident YOU ARE NOT A J.W. so why are you here?
What is also quite evident is that you have delusions, both about yourself and about your "Hilda in Christ" position. As I asked some time back, Is Christ in you?
Get a therapist luv for everyone's sake.
