@Emeth - What I was trying to ask is do you think the WTBTS is struggling with getting enough money to keep going, or do you think they have plenty of money and it is not a problem for them.
Is this new donation arrangement for real?

@fastjehu being a follower of Jesus does not mean you cannot have a place to live, does it? No it does not.
And we do help the poor within our congregations with practical and material help, and we help millions of other poor,.. the spiritually poor.
(Matthew 4:4) . . .“It is written, ‘Man must live, not on bread alone. . ."
(Matthew 26:6-10) 6 While Jesus happened to be in Beth′a·ny in the house of Simon the leper, 7 a woman with an alabaster case of costly perfumed oil approached him, and she began pouring it upon his head as he was reclining at the table. 8 On seeing this the disciples became indignant and said: “Why this waste? 9 For this could have been sold for a great deal and been given to poor people.” 10 Aware of this, Jesus said to them: “Why do YOU try to make trouble for the woman?
So fastjehu stop trying to make trouble, cause you waste my time

If there is no lack of money - then the only other explanation is greed/running their business (not religion) more profitably.
Either way they aren't "waiting on jehovah" to get them more cash.
Russell had more faith than these guys....and ...gasp....he wasn't even part of the FDS!

I am going to suppose the whole arrangement is a money-laundering scheme. Watchtower will seize all the money and then lock it up in overpriced building projects. The world's biggest Assembly Halls will somehow cost more than ever. That will also be in line with them saying "We are at this moment a hundred thousand dollars in debt at this assembly." The overpriced project will justify more-per-publisher demands.

Emeth is not violating any prohibition to read and write in apostate sites. His presence here is sanctioned by high ranking members of the WT. He is here to counteract the negative effects of apostate information and reduce the bleeding. He is part of the schemers, not the schemed. He is evidence that the WT is losing slowly to apostates. It's just a matter of time.
Just random conspiracy theories.
