It does not mean that the congregation would go out and put it in practice once outside the building.

The segregation of the conference is even being imposed in academia. We have state schools in the UK that were discovered to be segregating boys and girls for religious reasons.

Perhaps only a minority would actively stone an adultress to death but how many would object?

The comment right off that Islam is the truth and Judaism and Christianity is not is definitely a cult belief.

Heaven - I noticed that too.

Q- Why do the media pick on us?

A - Because we have the truth.

    Straight out the WT playbook.

jgnat is right to point out that the situation's context makes this an inaccurate portrayal of Muslim beliefs. cofty, you seem to undermine your own point when you say:

If the speaker at a JW convention asked the audience to raise their hand if they agree with similar statements it would be almost unanimous.

Yes, it would. If you asked JWs to raise their hands if they hate what is bad, they would raise their hands. If they were asked to raise their hands if they look forward to a Paradise where the wicked have been eliminated, they would raise them. These things sound good in principle. If you asked them if they actually want all their worldly acquaintances to die, they would be much more reluctant. It's all about how the speaker asks the question. If it's sufficiently abstract, the results will adhere to the doctrines, but when it becomes more concrete, the believers will waver in their conviction.

So, yes, of course the Koran says 'death to unbelievers' and if someone is a Muslim they must follow the Koran, as with the Bible and Christians. There's still a big gap between saying that one agrees with the Koran and actually acting violently towards nonbelievers.

If anything is likely to make them violent, it's feeling that the world is against them because people are speaking out against their holy book, blaspheming Mohammed to get a rise out of them, etc. How can they not return hate with hate?

The speaker in the video: "What's media gonna' say now? That we're all extremists?"

    Yes.

To be completely honest, the video wasn't creepy, it was scary. All those people ARE radical, extremist, Muslims.

A Muslim is a person who is obedient to the will of Allah. According to the words of the "Prophet of Islam", Allah is the author of the Quran, thus a Muslim is a person who must do what the book says. If he or she does not follow the Quran, he or she is not considered to be a Muslim.

We all know stealing is a crime, but people do not want to cut the hand of a thief. Offence is always bad, but people do not want to flog the guilty. Adultery is a crime, but a sensible human will never stone the guilty to death. Drinking is not good for health, but cultured people never want to flog the drinker. The world wants to go by its own rules. It does not need to adopt the 7th century Bedouin tradition.

Muslim Immigrants to the West must destroy the welcoming and loving culture of their host countries and impose Islamic law in the lands, if they truly go by Quran and Hadis. Islam's ultimate goal is to convert the developed world including all other non-Muslim countries to Islamic paradises like Saudi Arab, Iran, or Talibani Afghanistan.

People always want to live with their own freedom and expect others to enjoy it. But Islam will take it away as soon as it becomes powerful. Islam will impose its own policy that will force people to obey Islamic tyranny.

People must make a choice between reality and falsehood. Islam is completely different faith that cannot stand near the border of humanism, truth, and tolerance. In general, Islam has various parts that appear when it is scrutinised thoroughly.

Here are some core examples of Islam:

Islam divides human beings into Muslims and Kafirs, which makes Muslims underestimate Kaffirs.

Islam will put non-Muslims in hell for eternity.

Islamic punishments and justice are brutal and inhuman (stoning, flogging, beheading).

Islam is alien to modern culture and democracy.

Islam keeps Muslims busy in it therefore progression in modernity is fuzzy among them.

Islam's founder was not a good person.

Islam has its own law, and it wants to take over the world and impose its rules.

Islam takes away the rights of women and non-Muslims.

Islam blocks the freedom and free speech.

Islam can make Muslims as wild as hyenas while taking revenge.

    Islam encourages fighting and war.

Islam kills Islam leavers and critics.

    Islam authorizes polygamy for men.

Islam does not allow women to divorce.

Islam produces terrorists / Jihadists / muftis (fighters of Islam).

Islam forces Muslims to pray and fast.

Islam forces women to wear burkas (veils).

    I really hate religion.

If you asked JWs to raise their hands if they hate what is bad, they would raise their hands. - Apog

JWs are religious extremists. A JW who would let their child die before approving a transfusion would be viewed by other JWs as normal or mainstream not an extremist.

Mainstream JWs spank their children, expect wives to be in subjection and view homosexuality as depraved.

There's still a big gap between saying that one agrees with the Koran and actually acting violently towards nonbelievers. - Apog

Do you think one of those men who rasied their hands would raise a finger to stop a fellow Muslim from obeying the Quran?

If anything is likely to make them violent, it's feeling that the world is against them because people are speaking out against their holy book, blaspheming Mohammed to get a rise out of them, etc. How can they not return hate with hate?

There is no such thing as blasphemy it is a made-up reason for taking offense. Any religion that teaches it's followers to react to ridicule with violence has nothing to contribute to civilised society.

Obliette - I think it is far deeper than group conformity.

If we sat each of those men down one by one for an informal chat and asked them if Muhammad was wrong about women, and about how non-muslims should be viewed and about how to treat apostates, do you believe they would answer any differently?

Little brother: "Stop poking me! You're making me angry!"

Big sister: "No I'm not, you're just being a baby! Poke!"

Who's at fault if the big sister gets kicked?
