I just searched JW.org on eBay - I am amazed at the JW merchandise listed there. It's staggering.
This religion has morphed almost overnight into something I don't recognise.....truthseeker

For several consecuative decades the organization measured "success" as increases in numbers of publishers. Time will tell whether its entry in streaming tv will impact on this measure. Intuitively, I suspect it will signal to the rank and file that the global internet-media outreach is far, far more efficient and effective that door-knocking.
Perhaps this "shift" in focus will allow the organization to de-emphasize its old measure of success and trumpet instead increases in number of visits to its site and JW TV.

Great thread OUTLAW. WT really are thriving since the rebranding, good point. Many current JWs have got motivated to do more and are more zealous than ever. This strategy has really worked well in WT's favour. I couldn't see it before.
But we mustn't forget that also due to really stupid doctrines, new thoughts, shunning and lack of love JWs are leaving. We need to be aware of jw.org success but also balance it with the fact that many are still waking up and leaving.
