The Watchtower organisation will become whatever it needs to be in order to survive.

It doesn't care about anything but it's own existence..........and it's survival will produce many casualties amongst those touched by it.

It's not going to do anything to slap apostates in the face if the whole thing is blatant stupidity. Just about everything the washtowel puts out is blatant stupidity, and if they put out such smut, they are only going to end up embarrassing themselves.

I agree with Punky. Just as JWs have never bothered to read their own literature, so too will be JW TV once the newness wears off. Judging from the response of people here, X-JWs have been more enthralled by it just as X-JWs read the literature more than JWs do.

That, BTW, is a mixed bag for the WTS. On one hand they wish that JWs would take their propaganda so seriously, but on the other, once a JW really does start looking closely there is a good chance they'll soon be an X-JW.

Someone described it earlier as Lipstick on a Pig. Once the excitement/lipstick wears off of JW TV, it's going to just be the manure that's left.

The WTS is just spending some of the hundreds of millions its made from the sale of their real estate holdings particularly in Brooklyn New York

and the many branches it sold around the world. $$$

Of course the majority of JWs have no idea the WTS. has this much money, its for that reason the WTS. never puts out its actually financial state.

We're here to help people who want to leave know that it's possible to do so and to get support through a difficult time, benefit from the experience of others that have gone through the same thing and know that they are not alone as the WTS discards them.

Simon is right, there is NO WAR. If you are living in a world where you think you are at war with the organization, do yourself a favor and STOP. The organization has 8 million followers, pays no taxes, and gets free money. YOU CAN'T STOP THAT. Look at catholocism, pedophilia was and probably is rampant and it has been made clear the higher ups covered it up for years, yet catholocism is still alive and well. This forum and apostates should just be here to help people leaving and those that have left. There is no war to be won, the organization is not going anywhere. The organization is going to be able to hang their hats on this web site for years to come. JWs are just now starting to wear jw.org pins around to meetings, on the platform and so on. The fever is actually just catching on. The org has tons of videos and things to put up that will keep the fever alive for a very long time. You only lost a war or got slapped in the face if you truly believe you are in some sort of battle with the organization. A JW will only listen to you when they question things themselves first, not any of us sneaking in some information to them.

This is a universe where an ISIL (or ISIS, or IS, whatever those Islamic extremists are calling themselves) can exist. An ISIL! They are literally cutting off the heads of aid workers and people are still flocking to join them. W-T-H, right?
