Christ's Fake Brothers - Tomorrow's WT Study

Tomorrow's WT study, paragraph 4 says this - "The early Bible Students understood the expression rendered in the King James Version "my brethren" to refer to those who would rule with Christ as well as to all of mankind after they are restored to earthly perfection."

So Mr. J.F. Rutherford decided in 1923 to change this teaching, and create an elite group of Christians. For 92 years the men running the WTBTS have perpetuated & embellished this false teaching - especially so during the past three years - and hidden the Bible truth about Christ's brothers from millions of people fearful to question the Org - created doctrine!

For any lurkers who would appreciate scriptural evidence about the identity of Christ's brothers, dig out your 'silver sword' and slice through the Org's body of lies:

According to Scripture, Who Are Jesus' "Brothers"?

(Matthew 12:50) whoever does the will of my Father who is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother."

    (Matthew 13:38) The field is the world; as for the fine seed, these are the sons of the kingdom;

(Mark 3:35) Whoever does the will of God, this one is my brother and sister and mother."

(Luke 8:21) In reply he said to them: "My mother and my brothers are these who hear the word of God and do it."

(John 1:12,13) However, as many as did receive him, to them he gave authority to become God’s children.........

(Rom. 8:14) For all who are led by God’s spirit, these are God’s sons.

(1 John 5:1) Every one who believes that Jesus is the Christ is a child of God... (Revised Standard Version)

Luke:21) In reply he said to them: "My mother and my brothers are these who hear the word of God and do it."

and the most important one of these are "the LEAST" of my brothers (Math.25) not the big cheeses.

Searcher, I like that you are keeping current with comments about the weeks teachings. I have missed Blondie's comments. I know it was a lot to do, and I appreciated them.

Thanks Searcher. The best defense is a good offense ( So I try to stay abreast of most things JW while waiting to see which way my completely confused, yet seems to be fully indoctrinated husband, will go)

Let me play GB's advocate. Well...the bible was written for the anointed.

....the bible was written for# the anointed. Data Dog--

well then the anointed, the seven that really count , should listen to "Jesus": "whoever, does the will---"* , "--the least of my brothers."

*" --extending his hand to his disciples--", not yet anointed and speaking to other non-anointed.

    # written for the anointed about the non-anointed.

Don't forget the most important scriptures is Rev 5:9-10 there in the Greek it does not say they'll will rule over the earth as kings, but on the earth and still not as kings but reign only as priests . Also these scriptures refer to the great crowd, notice thier description in verse 9. Now turn over to chapter 7:9 as you'll see its describing the great crowd to a tee.

The JW teaching about the 'least of christ's brothers' being a reference to the anointed, makes christ out to be a petty, partisan, elitist.

Think about it: christ judges people according to how they treat, specifically, the anointed? Picture a goat saying:

"But Jesus, all these things we did to members of the other sheep..."

    And Jesus responds with:

"It does not matter, they're not my brothers - they're only Jehovah's friends . I only care about how you treat my anointed.

Why would christ not care about how they treat all his followers, anointed or not? Is christ going to judge someone unworthy of life if they rendered help to a member of the "other sheep" but never did so to the anointed? It's an utterly stupid teaching that implicitly dishonors christ by painting him as one who favors and cares about only an elite class of his followers while ignoring the others. It makes no sense.

And think about the expression: "least of my brothers"

How on earth, could the highly exalted Governing Body, the earthly leaders of Jehovah's Organization, be considered as being the least of christ's brothers? One would logically think that if anyone is to be considered the least of christ's brothers it would more likely to be those of his followers doing his Father's will while not being anointed and having the lesser, earthly hope, no?

I think this teaching is one of the rottenest, stinkingest, examples of the Governing Body shamelessly twisting scriptures to serve the interests of Watchtower.

Thank you for this thread. I have a big problem with this doctrine and understanding of jw's ...

Another aberration I found about this:

*** ws chap. 1 pp. 10-11 par. 16 The Desire for Peace and Security Worldwide ***

16 Just as the ancient nation of Israel was in a covenant relationship with Jehovah God through the mediator Moses, so the nation of spiritual Israel, “the Israel of God,” has a covenant relationship through a mediator. (Galatians 6:16) It is as the apostle Paul wrote to his Christian fellow worker: “There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, a man, Christ Jesus.” (1 Timothy 2:5) Was Moses the mediator between Jehovah God and mankind in general? No, he was the mediator between the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and the nation of their fleshly descendants. Likewise, the Greater Moses, Jesus Christ, is not the Mediator between Jehovah God and all mankind. He is the Mediator between his heavenly Father, Jehovah God, and the nation of spiritual Israel, which is limited to only 144,000 members. This spiritual nation is like a little flock of Jehovah’s sheeplike ones.—Romans 9:6; Revelation 7:4.
