I am happy for you to be so knowledgeable on this subject. I am glad you have the patience to read these books. I have never read any book on the subject...yes I guess I am ignorant to what you have read.
My point, and has been my point from the first page...You can not dissuade me from how I feel. Your books and theory will remain in your libraries. I don't want to read on this subject. I really honestly don't care. I was sharing my thoughts on this thread. I just keep jumping back in here to make you eralize this. Got it yet? My thoughts My feelings My experiences.

Larc, I'm not sure what it is, and I'm sure that this sounds totally insane; however, when I use Reiki on my animals, I don't actually touch them. My hands are held near the area that needs attention, and I can feel "heat" or energy emanating from them.

One example of this was one of my cats that had a cyst on her shoulder. The cyst had burst, leaving a hole about the size of a 50-cent piece. Initially, I followed the normal treatment method of cleaning the wound and trying to keep her quiet so that it would heal. Every time the edges would start to heal, however, she would get more active and open it up again. This went on for several weeks, and I had finally decided she would have to go to the vet for stitches. I then remembered that Reiki had helped one of the other cats previously, so as a last resort, I tried it.

I could feel the heat emanating from my hands, but I didn't expect too much. To my surprise, however, by the next morning the hole was half the size it had been the night before. By that evening, the edges had closed and begun to heal. It never broke open again, and within three days she was totally healed without a scar.

I'm sure that I'll receive a lot of flak for posting this, but it happened....and it hasn't been the only occurrence. My explanation? Well, I think that somehow the body's energy fields are being focused to the area that needs it, and that this energy enhances the healing process. Probably something similar to acupuncture. I don't believe it is magical or mystical in any way. I simply feel it is a natural ability that we all have, but that is more pronounced in some people.

I am not going to give you flak, and I am not going to be harsh. As I said before, I think this should be studied. If there is energy eminating from you then, this could be meausured. If fact, once the energy frequency was known it would be possible to use biofeeback to increase people's ability to generate such energy.

The whole idea of healing others is called into question because it doesn't fit in with the paradigm that society has based it's views on since the Roman Empire forced Christianity on the Western world and drove the spiritually based cultures underground, labelling them as evil. There has, in recent years, been a revival of the original belief system.

Once we overcome the idea that we are all separate from each other, then happenings that seem difficult to accept, become more easily understood. We all exist in a sea of mind and share the same life force. The mind has the power, when correctly used, to open that connection and transfer life energy between all living things. It is a very natural occurrence. During the use of clinical hypnosis, where the therapist is seeking to effect a healing a channelling of this energy can spontaneously occur with outstanding results. As they say 'seeing is believing'.

the best part of engaging the spirit and putting the body on the back burner is that you need not be Physically present to share your spirit with someone.......

many of the discussers are Reiki people as well, and there are wonderful insights to get rid of this "witness woundology" that is robbing many of there lifes energy.
