Am I damaging the silentlambs cause?

  God Simon, this sure sounds like old times. Brush it off and don't worry what people say. I don't think you are doing any damage to SL. But if you keep listening to people who name call and belittle, you will do damage to yourself.

  You do as much as you can, considering you have a job and a family of four. I think the ones throwing around accusations should do as least as much or shut the hell up.

  Like I said in another post. If you sit back and watch, you learn who the real trouble makers are.

  P.S. If you were, why do you think Silent Lambs themselves would be using this as their message board to get the word out, instead of "others"?

  One of the few unfounded (I think) accusations that have been thrown at me by certain people is that I have caused 'untold damage' to the silentambs cause.

  Unless you've been feeding bethel with inside information behind the scenes, that sounds pretty mental to me. I assume the person gave some reason for saying that?

  There are alot of people floating about the net that fit into the "mental" category, some filed under mental: see 'midget', and some filed under mental: see 'loopy'. Either way, I wouldn't let them get you down. Which is the same advice as I'd give to a duck, btw.

  I agree with everyone here who has spoken up on your behalf - NO, I am not aware of anything you might have done or failed to do that has hurt the SilentLambs movement.

  The person making this accusation should come forward and offer SPECIFICS.

  If they don't, they're just passing wind in your general direction.

  Thanks ... I didn't think I had (I do my best to help) but you never know if you have done something inaventantly, especially when busy with lots of things.

  I appreciate the reassurance. Of all the accusations people make about me it's about the only one that really bothers me.

  Notwithstanding the above, Silent Lambs has, over and over again, used your forum to communicate the latest news of his efforts.

  If it weren't for this site I wouldn't know what a Silentlamb is. It was the first place I ever heard the term Silentlamb. If that says anything bad about anyone that would be me. maybe it can be said that I don't get around on the net much. However, it can't be anything but a positive for this site and the what your hard work and dedication allows others to do. This site is a terriic gateway for kowledge and info about anything concerning ex-jws. If saying that is a stretch, it ain't much of one.

  Simon, I agree with what all have been saying. Your site has benefited so many to have the courage to not be silent. Don't listen to the disparaging comments of ignorant troublemakers. Your board gave me a place to come to to share my own story regarding abuse issues, and for the most part everyone here was very loving and supportive.

  I think I know where the remark came from as well and it just seems to be founded on a bit of resentment, IMO. I could be wrong. It just sounded that way. eccooo

  If the remark is from the same source then it also involves Bill Bowen more so then You Simon. There is resentment towards Bill, on the part of your accuser, for stealing the "show" per sa'. And you fueled it with your support. You traitor you! It's just childish stuff I doubt anyone mature would give it a second thought.
