I like your questions, minimus. Most of them are ones that don't necessarily have a right or a wrong answer, viewpoint questions. I can understand why you hold back commenting right away so not to skew the responses. But eventually, it would be nice to see your own thinking on your own questions.

Why anyone would want to attempt to change wt procedures boggles my mind, unless, like you say, he still believes that the wtbts is God's chosen channel. Why give them the satisfaction of thinking that anything they do is correct? A judicial committee hearing??? Come on now.
There was a poster who, in his crazy way, brought this up a few months ago and got pissed all over. He said that instead of trying to change the procedures of a cult, hit them where it hurts, make them suffer monetarilly for their wrong doing. And, it seemed he was obnoxiously speaking out against Silentlambs and eventually was inactivated as a poster. For the record, I don't think he was wrong, he was just, well, obnoxious.
I think what you are saying is right, too, WTLies. I think we need to support the people who have suffered atrocities because they (unfortunately) were jws and stop supporting organizations. That's what got us into trouble in the first place. It's time to quit being followers.
Also for the record, I think Bill Bowen is an imperfect man who has done a lot to help victims of jw child abuse. Period.

hey plum, can you put m&m back there for me? ...Usually, Blondie, I like to ask the viewpoint question so as to get other's opinions. This time, if you noticed, I didn't ask a question in the title. I was clearly expressing my opinion on what went on with BB. Many here have the view that what THEY say is what matters. I think my opinion is equally acceptable. Personally, I really don't care if some hate my posts. Not everyone is gonna love ya, right? Regarding your posts, Blondie, I ALWAYS enjoy them. Keep up the good work!

I have to admit thAT Jesus did not try to reform the Jewish system when he was on earth, so I don't try to change the WTS, a many-headed hydra if I ever saw one.
Sometimes it is necessary to prove that the other side refuses to take part in the solution. Serving subpoenas on people does not guarantee their appearance in court. But it proves they cannot say they didn't know where to go, when to be there, and why they were asked, and the consequences.
But eventually it is only pearls before swine.

Just to make a point? For who's benefit??? Some here have suggested that they think what BB has done is laudable (concerning his new letter). It's worthless. It gives the impression to some impressionable people that this is going to pioneer a new and better Jehovah's Witness organization.The only thing that will result is dismay and frustration. If BB is wanting to help the silentlambs (and I think he is sincere), this is the worst approach to take.

Just in case you weren't really sure, The Watchtower and the Governing Body will never meet with Bill Bowen. He is now disfellowshipped.
Well, the Governing Body NEVER WAS going to meet with him because they are COWARDLY EVIL WIMPY VIPERS!
And, "NEWS FLASH" Bill Bowen has been treated as Disfellowshipped for what -- almost 2 years now!
They spread rumors and sent Video Tapes around that called him an APOSTATE LIAR waaaaaayyyy before they "officially" Disfellowshipped him.
The Governing Body can't even play by their own rules.
You question the GB and you are DF'd.
Bill is right, the GB has become "GOD ON EARTH" to the Jehovah's Witnesses.
