Very well put, Andee. We all want to see this organization (SL) succeed, and we all want to see the Society humbled. I hope that there is more to the letter than meets the eye, something that we don't know about.

My biggest concern is regarding the naming of specific accused persons. Until charges are laid, this is heresay (even if it is true). The person named is very powerful and has boatloads for money for lawyers. A slander lawsuit right now would deflect valuable resources (both time and money) that are needed for the campaign.

This movement (I can't think of a better word for it) has been successful beyond my wildest dreams, but the fight still has a long way to go. I hope it isn't jeapardized by a couple of questionable moves.

    It's not my view.

    Rom 13:1
13:1 Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established.

    Rom 13:1
The authorities that exist have been established by God.

    If I may..............................................

I agree with BG and Dragon.

I don't put my faith in ANY organization. I was able to get the guidence I needed to do what I am doing by going to the silenlambs website. If it hadn't been for Erica Garza on Dateline--I would have had no idea silentlambs exsited or that I had any rights legally. I am very involved with silentlambs as most here know. I do agree with the points made here and thought at first I was going to be offended---I was not. I thank you for bringing this point up, I am not an office person and didn't see things from a business stand point.

For those who believe that "God" is backing things, if I may..................does he not bless those who show works. That to me means those who want change or something to happen have to show effort and works to be backed by anything. Whether it be the court system, the public, or "god" if you choose to believe in him.

Just my thoughts. I for one do not believe in god, but do believe in doing things to try and change things.

Yes, thank you to the 'SLO'.

'Without 'Silentlambs.org' and it's founder, 'we' simply would not have gotten this far. To take this all the way to Crooklyn itself, is/ was and will always be, a great accomplishment. Many of us DO comprehend just what it took to get there. Yet:

". While this may help future victims, it won't help the present ones.

These lambs have experienced a major loss of control in their lives, and to throw all their eggs in the Silentlambs lap is to repeat this loss of control. Should Silentlambs 'fall thru', it would further devastate the lambs, whereas if they take their cases into their own hands, justice will move forward.

My opinion, for what it's worth."

It is my opinion as well, and it IS worth a great deal...to ME.

How do you know that the effort shown by others for good is not a direct cause by God?

PS. Silent Lambs IS an organization of which you have put your trust in. And rightly so.

    Silent lambs no more, Amen.

As was said above, '"God is Law" and he can only take so much before he acts.'

Well, considering his track record with the holocaust and other attrocities, I wouldn't be expecting divine intervention any time soon.

Sorry to call you on this, but I was a Jw and I remember one very key point.

"Do not put your trust in man!"

Last I checked, Bill Bowen was not claiming to be a prophet or anointed. (Titles that are a little odd in modern society anyway). Lean on the side of caution with who you put trust in.

    Your twisting my words friend.

I never said Bill was claiming anything...but I believe God is.

Lean on the side of caution with who you put trust in.

I put my trust in God. Caution need not apply.

    To Pom,

I don't ask you NOT to believe in god, so don't ask me to see this as a directive by god.

I didn't say I don't trust silentlambs, I said I don't put my faith in ANY organization. There is a difference. I trust what Bill is doing is for the right reason. I have met him and his family and love them all. I know Bill is doing this for the right reason and that is what I trust. I trust what Bill is doing is for the protection of children. I don't put my "faith" in any Organization. Silentlambs has given me guidence and put me in touch with others I have been able to assist. I would not die for Silentlambs, but I would die for the protection of children if it would change things and give children a voice that would be heard. Silentlambs organization has given me and others a link to others, information, and legal channels if we so choose to use them. The most important thing it has done, for me, is to allow me to understand I am not crazy and that I am not alone in this. Silentlambs is a mouth piece, and I hope it will be around a long time.
