Have you all noticed that this thread is really TWO threads?
There is the original thread started by Beautiful Garbage in her experience in business re-directed to fit the situation now being experienced by Bill Bowen and Silent Lambs. She certainly made a valid and timely point that in order to be effective, the public must be addressed as much as possible so that the court of public opinion has a chance to operate on behalf of the abused little kids of the WTBTS. The people who make up the court of public opinion do not understand a hundredth part of what goes on behind the doors of a kingdom hall nor between the pages of the watchtower. The arcane and occult arguments and reasoning of the WTBTS and how the GB should be held to its own standards doesn't mean squat to the average Joe on the street, so why get into it at all. I think BG is saying "tailor your arguments to fit your audience" and in that she's right. The attention span of an adult human isn't that long when the topic under consideration is something they're interested in. Trotting out all the phoney-baloney arguments of the WTBTS isn't going to hold the public's interest for five seconds.
On the other hand, there's another thread going on mainly being generated by Pom. And his thread is shot through and through with issues of faith and whether God is interventionistic and speculation about whether He is involved with SL, and if He is then we don't need to do anything but watch as God lays 'em low up in Brooklyn. It's almost as if the two camps involved in this thread are barely aware of each other. And I don't think such theological speculation is going to further Bill's efforts get get justice for the little watchtower kids.
Of course, Pom has the right to bring up his point of view. However, there being a time and place for everything, I think it would be more helpful if everyone got behind Bill and helped as much as possible.
I agree with BG that now that Bill's got their attention, he keeps the pressure on now by directing ALL HIS FORCE toward the general public. And that he do so in plain simple non-watchtower jargon designed to explain in plain language to Joe Six Pac what's happening to little kids who are being drug through the horror of the WTBTS without a hope nor a prayer. If this is successful, there goes the main reason the JWs exist - to keep piling up money somewhere for some purpose no one knows. And I'd hope that Pom and the people who agree with him, would put their secondary debate off to one side and help Bill as much as they can.

When I present clear cut cases in which your allegedly righteous and loving God did NOTHING, you evade the matter at hand, and somehow blame me as though these events are on my time schedule! HAHHAAH
So let me get this straight. You attribute childbirth as a miracle of God that happens every single day. Yet horrific disasters in which millions of innocent people are murdered are someone else's fault.... when God is the law? He is omnipotent, and yet he does nothing? Birth is his blessing, but death is someone else's problem? You have GOT to be kidding me. Your running yourself around in circles here.

I have a very simple answer. There is NO God. He is a delusional fantasy that is a destructive influence on society. Has that thought ever crossed your mind? Show me an example proving God exists without the merit of your Scriptures. Childbirth has a scientific explanation. Everything you have attributed to Him has a logical and scientific explanation. You praise him for good things and find excuses for the bad things. This is truly pathetic.

Indeed you are, but again you are missing the point. Using the Bible to substantiate your spiritual claims is an illogical fallacy. That would be comparable to the Watchtower magazine supporting one of their claims by referencing another Watchtower magazine. Show me FACTS that can be verified which demonstrate your God's existence? You have yet to do so.

When did you get to be referee on who is posting "correctly" or "on topic" or not? In my opinion, my post(s) are just as worthy as anyone's, and I personally would not have the gall to judge negatively ANYONE's posts as you have done to mine. Me, I'd let them roll and see where they go letting people speak their minds without penalty whistle's. Unless of course it gets rotten ie foul, personal, threatening...but I guess you see otherwise eh?

There does seem to be two things Bill Bowen is confronting. (1) protection of children (2) the general hypocrisy of the WTBTS. It might be useful to list the pros and cons of co-mingling these two issues . One expressed "con" seems to be that public support is endangered by co-mingling. Another is that important resources are misdirected away from the victim's cause. Are there any "pro's" , that is positive effects from co-mingling the above issues under the auspices of Silentlambs?
