Number one thing was time banging on doors, not just return visits. Had to be at least congregation or national average, whichever was greater. Then qualifications in Scriptures were considered.

Well for my husband it worked like this:

Fool around with your fiance for six months before you get married. But never tell on yourself.

As soon as you're married, have your wife write all your talks for you and steal her underlined watchtower for yourself every sunday.

Talk to the guy at work for five minutes and put down 10 hours for the month.

Make sure your wife and kids look good and show up for service every Wednesday and Saturday. Steal your wife's RVs.

Make sure your wife studies with the kids and gives them answers for the meeting so you look like you're a good theocratic dad.

End of first year at new congregation get recommended.

End of first six months of being an MS move out of town and drop out of the truth(TM)
