You're Still Here by Faith Hill
This is on her new CD.
Everytime I hear this song I think of Lisa Beamer, wife of Todd Beamer who lost his life on 9/11 in a field in Pennsylvania. So sad.

Outaservice (who's so sentimental)
Sabine, I had 4 tickets to Bonnie Rait purchased already when my marriage ended. I couldn't get them sold, so 3 workmates went with me. I was actually having a good time, and thinking, "hey, maybe life can go on" when she came out with "I can't make you love me". It was messy from there on out.
It could probably summons up a tear or two right now, as could "Friends" by Elton John.
Pachbel's Canon
Does it every time
You were always on my mind,,,,,,,, by Willie Nelson and also Elvis sang this.

Outaservice....I'm totally gutted by those heartfelt lyrics...sheds a tear.
Matty I'd never heard the lyrics to that song...gulp.
Supertramps "logical song" lyrics are meaningful but the music aint sad:
When I was young, it seemed that life was so wonderful,
a miracle, oh it was beautiful, magical.
And all the birds in the trees, well they'd be singing so happily,
joyfully, playfully watching me.
But then they send me away to teach me how to be sensible,
logical, responsible, practical.
And they showed me a world where I could be so dependable,
clinical, intellectual, cynical.
There are times when all the world's asleep,
the questions run too deep
for such a simple man.
Won't you please, please tell me what we've learned
I know it sounds absurd
but please tell me who I am.
Now watch what you say or they'll be calling you a radical,
liberal, fanatical, criminal.
Won't you sign up your name, we'd like to feel you're
acceptable, respecable, presentable, a vegtable!
At night, when all the world's asleep,
the questions run so deep
for such a simple man.
Won't you please, please tell me what we've learned
I know it sounds absurd
but please tell me who I am.
I listen to this song when I'm feeling really down.
Dante's Prayer
Music and Lyrics Loreena McKennitt
When the dark wood fell before me
And all the paths were overgrown
When the priests of pride say there is no other way
I tilled the sorrows of stoneI did not believe because I could not see
Though you came to me in the night
When the dawn seemed forever lost
You showed me your love in the light of the starsCast your eyes on the oceanCast your soul to the seaWhen the dark night seems endlessPlease remember meThen the mountain rose before meBy the deep well of desireFrom the fountain of forgivenessBeyond the ice and fireCast your eyes on the oceanCast your soul to the seaWhen the dark night seems endlessPlease remember meThough we share this humble path, aloneHow fragile is the heartOh give these clay feet wings to flyTo touch the face of the starsBreathe life into this feeble heartLift this mortal veil of fearTake these crumbled hopes, etched with tearsWe'll rise above these earthly caresCast your eyes on the oceanCast your soul to the seaWhen the dark night seems endlessPlease remember mePlease remember meMackin
