You can't please all the people all the time

  I have always felt it was a PRIVILEGE to participate in this forum. Just like driving is a privilege, you have to respect the feelings of others and obey the "rules of the road".

  When a poster hogs the forum, it's like a driver hogging the road. After a while the normal "ebb and flow" stops, and all attention gets paid to the troublemaker.

  Thanks for helping keep the forum run smoothly, Simon. I am glad we can get back to the normal flow of things now, and not be continually confronted by how everything relates to one poster's pet peeve.

  Simon, you do an AWESOME job. This forum has been a godsend to me for the past year and half, and I've met some wonderful folks here.

  Do whatever you think is right, Simon. How can anyone complain, or put another way, why look a gift horse in the mouth. I appreciate the use of your time and money for my enjoyment. I haven't seen any thing to complain about myself though, I've had a great time on the forum and hope it continues on, just the way it has in the past.

  I used to play music for the Witness gatherings and funtions as I had the equipment.

  I NEVER pleased all people with the music I chose.

  Play something fast, play something slow, play something new, do you have........? I finally made an announcement.......no more requests. I play what I play....

  I used to enjoy JJ's posts too. I don't know what his problem with Jews was though, I wondered if he had some friends or relatives that were Palestinians.

  Simon,

  As I've said before, this is YOUR forum, and you can run it anyway you like. You can even make a mistake now and again, because you are human. Personally, I think you and Eman do a great job in monitoring the posts here. With everything else going on, working a job, taking care of family, this is quite a responsibility. I'm just glad you are able to do what you do for those of us who appreciate having such a nice "spot" to come to.

  You will never be liked by everyone, no matter how hard you try. In fact, if they don't like your forum, which is a representation of "you" and your standards, then perhaps they should just go elsewhere. It hurts when we are attacked for standing up for good principles, but we have to be true to ourselves. There will always be someone who is angry or offended, whatever. When you've done your best, that's all you can do.

  I've always appreciated how well this forum is operated. You certainly deserve most all the credit for that, my friend.
