    Wick.

She had long blonde hair and was in her late 40s, no children. Very pale skin, no makeup at all. Very tall and thin. She wore uncomfortable looking clothes, Very harsh material but always white cloth. I imagined that she wore a hair shirt. Makeup was "personal vanity" and "elevating creatures" so it was strictly tabboo.. The lived by candle power, largely, and drank not hot beverages. Home baked bread, vegetables fruits. A lot of white racist Christians are obsessed with preserving food. She was no exception. Bottling fruit , making jams, canning cauliflower and carrots. Strange people.

Simon I will never get tired of saying what a fantastic job you do here... And you do it because you want to, not because you have to!

You have a great amount of love to give to fellow ex jw's who are suffering. IT is a great healing place.

We should all remember that we dont have to be here if we do not like it. Simon is charging us is he???

    Keep smiling Simon

And as Bob Dylan also said:

"Half of the people can be part right all of the time,
and some of the people can be all right part of the time,
but all of the people can't be all right all of the time.
I think Abraham Lincoln said that.
"I'll let you be in my dreams if I can be in yours,"
    I said that.

Thanks for letting us in your dreams Simon old buddy! (now, if only you could do something to fix English cricket....)

Awww Simon....I get real sad when I see people slamming you when you're only trying to make this place nice for EVERYONE.

Whatever is said, don't let it rob you of your values Simon. You maintain a moderated climate here, and we all have the choice to stay or go. Some may choose to stay but ignore your requests, if that means they are deactivated, then that's the way the cookie crumbles.

The very ones who whine and carry on about their freedom of speech rights are the very ones who have the least respect for others. I have no problem with Jim, I've always liked him...but I do not think the material he posted was appropriate nor do I think your warnings should have been ignored.

Keep up the good work...and I do not think the suggestion to vote was a good one....we do not hold shareholder's rights...we are here as guests...therefore, showing the administration a little bit of respect would go a long way.

Do I worry? Well, no, not really ... what's the point?

    oops...wrong thread

Do I worry? Well, no, not really ... what's the point?

Thats the best way to look at it. I didn't have a problem with jj. Don't know the guy. His posts were getting a little annoying the past few days, but only because of the double standards they were filling up with. They didn't even seem to be "about Jews" really at all but more about trying to "prove to himself" that everyone but him is a hypocrite and secretly hates Jews. It was a bit over the top. Unfortunately he didn't draw the line when it was posted in everything this side of neon lights but rather kept insisting that he couldn't even see it. And blaming us for it.

Where's the line? Where's the line?

    There's the line!

    Where?

    There!

    But I can't see it!

Maybe because you're standing on it?

    Where?

    There!

    uh?

#1 - I don't think Simon, that you have ANY legal exposure for what's posted on this site, not in the US anyway, and probably not anywhere else, either. I've never heard of anyone being successfully sued for what's posted on their site. I have heard, though, of a court throwing out a libel case against a bb operator in the US brought by a guy who didn't like what someone said about him. Court wouldn't even hear the case. First amendment issue, it said. So after that, I went after C.B. Mitchell tooth and tong for awhile there, then I found out the bastard was so inconsiderate as to die on me. I never did like that guy.

#2 - I, too, have been puzzled by jjrizo and his Hitler was right stuff. Man, he went off the deep end, didn't he? Traded one cult for another. Seen it happen before I have. And I used to respect the guy. But the more he posted the more disgusted with him I became.

    You done good.

I'm puzzled why people would talk about a person like this, that can't defend themselves, because they were banned. Kind of cowardly actually.
