You and I and most everyone else knows that people with grievances have plenty to say on a certain board that seems to feed on "knocking Simon" or speaking ill of posters on JWD.
Jim lost no time in proclaiming his message "in another place" with, of course, the usual accolades from similarly embittered souls.
And, of course, he's not the only one, is he?

Is it you intention to attempt to try and cause trouble for me and the forum? A simple, clear 'yes' or 'no' answer will suffice and will also answer the question "do you want to continue to use this resource?". I am getting very tired of your threats.
I was not lying about what I posted. I don't lie and I don't bluff. Some people have a hard time understanding that, I guess they find the concept of 'not lying' a difficult one?

This is answering previous posts that started going on about IP addresses that I never mentioned.
Surely Simon's intention was to make Jim and I look like the same person. That is a bald faced lie.
I never said they were the same person so claiming it is a lie is just a distraction. I simply said that there was some connection (because they posted from the same computer at some pouint) which is why I wasn't surprised at the support and sympathy that Pomegranate was showing for Jims viewpoints. I thought it fair that people knew that it was not a totally independant person commenting.
Even if I DID post from a computer owned by Jim back in July, WHY WOULD HE REMEMBER SOMETHING LIKE THAT if there was NO apparent reason back then?
Is this an admission? Of course I don't 'remember' something like that which is why I check through the logs. This is why I keep logs.
Also, if ANYONE here knows a bit about tracing computers, the DETERMING FACTOR is always the IP address. If I posted from the same computer as Jim's, then the IP address would be the same. Please note he is NOT talking about IP addresses, because he KNOWS me and Jim's posts IP's DO NOT MATCH. THEY NEVER HAVE
Well, anyone who knows slightly more about computers than you obviously do will tell you that IP Addresses are not the only way to identify a machine. IP addresses are very simplistic although they can be useful sometimes.
I think all here will agree, if you followed the thread in question where he made the blatant accusation on his forum, that he indeed was talking about my recent post undermining his position and agreeing with Jim and NOT something from *July*.
It was not a "blatant accusation" it was a factual statement and the way you have reacted to it shows your true intentions IMHO.
PS. Trauma, that's a really cool pic in your profile photo. It has a great ROCK feel to it.

Just for everyone else's "piece of mind" - I do log access to the site and have methods to identify duplicate posters but these are in place for situations like this and to provide protection from trouble makers and the like. Regular posters will never be affected by any of this I can assure you.

Referencing almost any thread or comments from JWO is pointless. I believe that that forum is the most negative, crass, bordering on profane bunch of idiots, I have ever read. Incessant drivel, about anything but positive.
I think you should ignore every single thing emenating from that site. It isn't worth a mention!

Any board has it's share of discontented folk, inevitably some of then become so odious that one has to wave goodbye to them. The weird thing is that many of them would probably be quite likeable if they were physically present, it's just once sat in front of a computer some people exhibit horrible tendencies much as some nice people become total loonies when sat behind the wheel of a car. I think that alcohol plays a large part in this too.
I've had amaiable telephone conversations with a couple of posters who have later ripped into me on forums such as this. I couldn't believe that the persons that I spoke to could actually write the crap they wrote after giving me such a good feeling over the phone.
It's strange really, our common bond is often our dislike of the WT, elsewhere the common bond seems to be the dislike of the board that wont accept their posts. This one!

What threats are you talking about simon, I haven't made any threats towards you, that information is PUBLIC knowledge. You have made threats towards me however.

I think you're right DannyBear. At the end of the day, sensible people can see the reality and there is usually no reasoning with those that can't.
That sort of thing took me by surprise too Englishman - the levels that people will stoop to and the lies they will tell are unbelievable. I think you're probably like me in that I find it hard to stay angry with someone, especially someone I've spoken to and believed to be a friend but some people seem to take some perverse pleasure in it or else they just need help.
