  Dear Gift-Wrapping Challenged Posters:

  Rather than take all the time to wrap presents and end up unhappy with the way they turn out, only to have all the paper ripped off in less time than it takes to say "MasterCard", why not just hop over to the local Dollar Store and splurge on gift bags in all shapes, sizes and colours, and some pretty tissue paper. The gift bags are recycle-able (you save trees and $$ in the long run), they're EASY, and look so beautiful. They take less time to fill than they do to unfill.

  When I first read the title of this thread I thought to myself "Oh, Xena! silly girl! We are all quite aware of THAT!" It's the theme of many a male fantasy on this forum. Perhaps share some unusual techniques?

  I have tons of Xmas bags. Of course, all saved from presents given to me or my kids. So far, nobody has remembered giving them to us in the first place. Maybe I will put a mark on them to see if I get them back.

  I'm the same exact way.I too, thanks to my JW upbringing am wrapping impaired. We are putting up Christmas lights for the first time this year and we totally don't know what we are doing. Should be interesting hehehe.

  YES! It is good to know I am not alone in my plight.....

  The bags are good, very good, but they just don't cover every contingency and after the holidays where the heck do you put ALL of them??? I have closets full of the things, they multiply I tell you.....

  hhmmmm did I hear "Mall"????? lol I am with you larc I don't want to pay for it when I can get it for free.....the wrapping...we were talking wrapping, right???

  Oh mighty xeena.

  It may well be that you suck at wrapping presents. I dont know.

  Myself I am being accused of thwarting the spirit of Christmas and turning a lovely, warm and cuddly thing into a negative thing. This is a justifiable accusation against me in many ways. I still have problems after all these years with just accepting rituals like hanging the Christmas stockings and enjoying such simple pleasures as watching the lights switch on for the first time. My programming is still part operational.
