Czar, let me explain something about Yadirf. He has not been to a meeting for over 25 years. He believes the basic doctrines, but believes they have certain details of prophecy all wrong. He doesn't plan to go back again until they get it right, according to his interpretation. This puts Yadirf in the comfortable position of not having to do anything about going to meetings or out in service, and it also allows him to hang out with us.

ok yadrif, i'll bite. what kind of things do u expect to see changed in the org? I am sort of similar-i'm not going back until they admit and apologize for destroying so many peoples lives./and change some polices. Which means , i'm probably never going back. My husband sees it too, but he stiill stubbornly holds out hope for the org, but he is inactive and only really goes to meetings-but unfortuely upholds jw doctrine.

Parts of it can be understood. For example, I've discovered that the name on the harlot's forehead isn't her own name like most commentators have thought. Got solid reasons for knowing that too. To take it for granted though, such as you apparently do, that nothing about Revelation is understandable at this time is a sure recipe for staying ignorant.
