Soldiers in the United States Armed Forces do not get to pick and choose their own wars, that decision is left to the US Government. It is our duty to uphold those decisions so people like you can pick and choose what it is that you wish to do in this Nation. The thing that irritates me is people like you that disrespect veterans that make your lifestyle possible.

As for brutally mistreating other humans, I will tell you that if and when I get deployed to a hostile nation where other soldiers/terrorists are trying to take my life, I will not hessitate to shoot first and ask questions later. I charish my life and my country too much for it to be taken by the hands of someone else. Being, as I doubt, that you have never served in the armed forces, I also doubt you will be able to understand this concept.

Lefty, I am definitely Max's elder and he has never shown me anything but respect. Maybe if you didn't hide behind vague scriptures to protect your sorry ass while belittling those who do put their butts on the line to protect even your ungrateful ass, you might have earned a little respect.

Your Dodge truck may be the "color of purity," but I suspect it has a yellow stripe all the way down the back of it, to match your own.

The next time terrorists hijack airliners and maybe aim them at bethel, or when some facist nation interns dubs in death camps, we should sit back and just wait on Jehovah too. I think soldiers do a nasty job that not alot of people would want to do. There are times when war is necessary.

I would assume a good soldier is a man that follows orders well and does not question and that is a mentality that will never sit well with me. To kill when ordered to without having the luxury of reason is something I personally could never conscientiously subject myself to.

I think soldiers are often the pawns of men that live in ivory towers. Soldiers on every side are just doing what they are told and are buying into the propaganda of their leaders that are safe in some bunker somewhere. One can glorify war and the men that die, and there are times if it should come down to it that this is an honorable death. But I think too many times too many men and women and children are dying needlessly and all the patriotic bullshit will not bring them back.
