    Heathen,

It looks like we are headed towards a Fascist state.

Its starting to sound a little bit too 1984 big brother.

    Doublespeak and all that.

    Where things mean the opposite.

"Patriot Act" not patriotic " Peace Process" usually invovles war The media is controling our minds. Keeps us sheltered from negative news and spreads corporate propaganda. It numbs our minds with sit coms, Jerry springer, and junk like that. Its flooded with commercials so that we dont stop spending.

READ IT PEOPLE. Read the article on 9/11, and then if you disagree with ANY of it, list what you disagree with and show supporting evidence.

As I've always stated, I'm not one to jump on conspiracy theories, however there would be no way in HELL I'd ever say the USA was NOT a part of that tragedy somehow.

I honestly think the truth will come out some day.

Do We Really Know Who Is Responsible

I will answer this question like a faithful Jehovah Witness.

Adam and Eve are responsible, and soon a New World will replace this old one.

So we can blame all our problems on Adam and Eve, and we can put all our hopes in the Kingdom.

Emiliano - The concept of dumbing down america has been the topic of talk shows like Rush Limbaugh for years when clinton was in office but of course it all ended when Bush took office . ( The media is controling our minds. Keeps us sheltered from negative news and spreads corporate propaganda. It numbs our minds with sit coms, Jerry springer, and junk like that. Its flooded with commercials so that we dont stop spending.) This sounds an awefull like WT thinking though . When christmas was here that's all they talked about was spending money it was disgusting and now the US is back to beating the war drums . The 1984 comparison is definately one I like to use when watching the moves of all these shakers and movers around here. It's like the WT sometimes ,you have to stand back and second guess every damn thing these people say and do because alot of it unconstitutional and people just are not paying attention so pretty soon they will be calling each other comrad or some such crap .

    Heathen,

Democrats and Republicans are just servants to corporate America. These debates about Dem. v Rep. are not the real issues. They're kinda like smokescreens to have us not focus on who is really behind pulling the strings.

Emiliano- It was not my intention to start a political debate , It was a sarcastic remark about George W putting an end to the dumbing down of america because most people think he is an idiot .So maybe I should have used . Who is behind pulling the strings? I suppose the reptillian overlords .

All becauuse of this insane 'registration' process our country is imposing on people of Middle Eastern descent..

First of all it's NOT JUST people of Middle Eastern descent... it is ALL immigrants that have to go throu this... WHAT'S WRONG WITH THAT!?? Do we want MORE illegal immigrants here? Certainly not.

I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Americans and Canadians. However, the dust from the attacks had barely settled when the "politically correct" crowd

began complaining about the possibility that our patriotism was offending others. I am not against immigration, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who is seeking a better life by coming to America. Our population is almost entirely composed of descendants of immigrants. However, there are a few things that those who have recently come to our country, and apparently some born here, need to understand. This idea of America and Canada being a multicultural national identity. As Americans and Canadians, we have our own culture, our own society, our own language and our community has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our own lifestyle. This culture has been developed over centuries of struggles, trials, and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom.

We speak ENGLISH, not Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society, learn the language! "In God We Trust" is our national motto. This is not some Christian, right wing, political slogan. We adopted this motto because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture. If Stars Stripes and Maple Leaf's offend you, or you don't like Uncle Sam, then you should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet. We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really don't care how you did things where you came from. These are OUR COUNTRIES, our land, and our lifestyle. Our First Amendment gives every citizen the right to express his or her opinion and we will allow you every opportunity to do so. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about our flags, our pledge, our national motto, or our way of life, I highly encourage you to take advantage of one other great American and Canadian freedom, THE RIGHT TO LEAVE.

It would be interesting to get stats on how many Christians are in the USA, and how many are religious by heritage but not proactive.

Personally, I don't see how anyone can associate God with politics. It makes no sense to me whatsoever. Like God is patriotic too - why the hell he'd want to bless any country is beyond me. "In God We Trust" - we trust him for what? To elect a President with common sense? To protect this country from terrorists? Just what is the point with that saying? Every religious individual supposedly trusts in God, and look at all of the turmoil that trust has caused!

Give me a frikkin break. It's hard to believe a lot of you used to be Jehovah's Witnesses.
