If USA goes to war, I think the chances are high it'll end w/ a nuke.
Think about it, if Sadaam has hidden weapons (which he more than likely does), he WILL use them.
The USA will start off fighting conventially, but the second WMD's are used, I seriously doubt they'll continue to fight w/ conventional weapons. No matter how ya look at it, it ain't gonna be pretty. What if all his soldiers give up on the first day? Sadaam will gas them along w/ the troops that come in to round them up.
When it's all over, will Sadaam finally no longer be a threat and the world a much better place?
Time will tell - crunch time is right around the corner.

i think there is a difference between what a politician says and what he actually does.
hussein is not religious...however he tries to get the fanatic muslims on his side. so of course he plays the religious card just like bush does.
so far i haven't heard any country offering asylum to hussein. if he is guaranteed a save heaven and his money somewhere and doesn't agree than we can discuss his rationality.

hussein built a secular state, he fights the religious fundamentalists in the south of iraq, he is an enemy to bin laden and he has never displayed and religious behavior. that doesn't sound like a die hard muslim to me.
his recent turn towards religion is obviously meant to get the religious people in iraq and the other countries behind him.
PS: i am not sure if bush actually is as religious as he pretends to be. don't forget he needs the ultra right wing to back him.
