They've have over 50 years to return - I don't think there's a time limit. Jews, people with at least some Jewish ancestry, and spouses have the right to move to Israel.

and are less than half way there - correct, but at least the rights of Jews are recognized. Now, if only the surrounding Arab nations (Eqypt, Jordon, Lebanon and Syria) would take care of their Palestinian Arab brethren ...

Agreed, 100%. My only point is that when people do the Biblical prophecy thing, it's important to call them out and keep them honest when they claim the Jewish peoples are no longer scattered around the earth. There is no measure by which you can claim you've got less than half the things and claim you have them all, even when rounding up.

Also, they have to remember that to be Jewish in Biblical times meant BOTH and ethnic and religious thing, now it does not. A large portion of the Israeli Jews are not religious. Do they count? If so, why so?

Agree with this - applying Biblical prophecy to Jews is claptrap. And, at the risk of offending posters like CalebinFlorida, the belief that Jews are God's chosen people is also claptrap, IMO. Nevertheless, Jewish people are a Levantine people and Israel won the Arab-Israeli war. So, at the risk of offending any Arab or Muslim posters, Jews have a right to live there.

Offending Arabs and Jews in the same post ... that's pretty good going

Does anyone ever notice how the know it all atheists sounds like Elders when dealing with this subject. No No No, that’s not true………..blah blah blah.

I have many a discussion with Elders about this subject. Without going into too much detail it is all comes down to this ridiculous complex bamboozle where the society or Spiritual Israel ( shit I have a hard time keeping up with the new light ) replaces the jewish people. It all seems somewhat borderline anti-sematic sometimes.

I have never really got a straight answer on how a group of nations roughly centered in the middle east is going to attack all the Jehovah Witnesses in the end times.

I know there is a certain level of interruption that has to be used when reading the bible and I am hardly on rapture watch but it is interesting how it seems to be coming together.

    Yup Clambake.

Here is the real prophecy, not the WT version.

Eze 37-39 read all at once in context. That seems to go with Zechariah 14 whole chapter.

Both don't show a WT armageddon where everybody is wiped off the face of the Earth except God's chosen.

Both show people of 'nations' etc left alive. If there is a 1,000 year reign perhaps this was the start of it. Either way no matter what any believe, it definitely doesn't match up with the WT version.

Well, actually, you've that exactly backwards, which in no way surprises me. The atheists here are point out facts and asking questions and refusing to believe something just because someone says so, the opposite of how elders work and how those promoting prophecy are acting.

I think you are just indiscriminately throwing around the pejorative "just like JW elders" because facts and reason don't support your particular evidence free assertion and you've no recourse other than insults to support your side. I mean, if you had actual evidence and an actual prophecy that matched, it should be easy to show, and you've not done that.

Neither evidence-free assertion of either claims matches reality.

Jws have no idea the new testament is the story of god and the jews and god and his church.

Once you understand the relationship , the rapture and how Israel actually means Israel tin the new testament the end times seem somewhat plausible with armegeddon most likely being a group of nations set to destroy the nation of Israel.

Who knows. All is I know it is a fun way to both pisses jws and atheists off at the ssame time
