Do You Think Trump Is Done?

A battle between the grumpy old men. It is a toss-up this early.
340 MILLION AMERICANS and these two are the choice

Trump may indeed turn out to be the "choice" of GOP primary voters. However, Democrats will likely not have any choice in the matter any more than they did in the previous election where the DNC forced all other viable (ie, Bernie) candidates to drop out and throw their support to Sleepy Joe. While it appears to be going the same way this time, I suspect Biden will be thrown to the curb, either due to all the corruption charges or just due to the fact that he has nothing further to offer as he is becoming too obviously incompetent. Then there will be the "surprise candidate" late in the game -- maybe not until the Democrat Convention. Although there are not many strong candidates on the bench. Michelle could sweep in and it would be over.

I’m not sure the DNC is capable of putting anybody else out there. Polls have shown that the biggest candidate after Biden is Robert Kennedy. They could put up Joe Manchin, but he is likely going on a third party ticket. I don’t see another Obama being successful, same problem that another Clinton had, they were so polarizing (activist First Ladies) and their husbands were so bad while in office even their own base won’t come out for them.

Biden is embroiled in corruption problems worse than Watergate, remember nobody cared about Watergate until suddenly everyone cared. Right now, nobody in the mainstream has picked up on the Biden revelations of the last 2 weeks.

The facts are that currently Trump polls higher than Biden in a general election but based on the approval numbers, it is very possible that a third party picks up enough steam on both sides and runs away with the thing as well.

Best thing that can happen for Trump is more indictments that will spectacularly fail, he keeps his name in the news and he gets vindicated. I think it is unlikely the DOJ is going to drag these cases along in Biden’s favor, too many people from judges to prosecutors that want their name associated with a conviction which most legal experts say won’t succeed or the ones in areas that have Democrat juries will get overturned in appeal. And that is Biden’s primary problem, nobody in his political circles cares about Biden.

Best thing that can happen to Biden is that nobody talks about Biden and Hunter goes to jail, once the primaries are over he won’t be able to hide anymore.

The blunder Trump made was not condemning the “insurrection” which resulted in the loss of lives. That looks bad on him. I would say for that reason alone. People see through the impeachment and criminal prosecution and classified docs and don’t care about that and would vote for himfrom him from behind his jail cell —if not for the loss of lives because of the insurrection. I would even say that had the insurrection not resulted in loss of lives, people would not care about the insurrection and would still vote for him.

I think that he will not win the next election if he runs but again it also depends on who else is running.

Not that I'm a conspiracy theorist or anything... but maybe the plan is for Biden to be elected and then all of his chickens suddenly come home to roost. Democrats suddenly discover that he is old and feeble, that his son is as crooked as the day is long, and so on. Next thing you know, we have President Harris, and the DNC selects her new VP, and then President Harris mysteriously "Epsteins" herself and presto! You end up with the real DNC choice for President.

So, your US President by late summer of 2025 is... CHELSEA CLINTON?!?!?!

@Fisherman: what insurrection and what loss of lives? 1 person died at the hands of an overeager police man.

We have video of the event now, Tucker Carlson lost his job over exposing the truth. The media lied when they said multiple people died.

People were being led around as if it was a tour, they were queuing at the gates and being let in by security. It was, to take a term CNN likes to use, mostly peaceful. We now also know that those that participated in the violence and riled people up to do (minor) damage, were FBI or CIA agents, we have pictures and videos of people that were standing around, directing the action and were mysteriously never pursued by the DOJ, people that appeared and suddenly disappeared from “wanted” lists.

Even so, it had nothing to do with Trump, hence why the lawsuits will fail, there is no evidence Trump told them to go in or coordinated with anyone to organize it.

Who will appear, and "win" the election by millions of surprise votes AFTER the polls on election night close. It worked before why not up the game for an as yet unknown puppet?

Love him or loathe him, Trump isn't finished.

Compare how the political system, justice system and media treat Trump vs how they treat Joe Biden. Gross double standards at play.

Trump has been impeached and indicted over and over again.

Meanwhile, the media has up till now studiously ignored any and all the problems with Joe Biden and his degenerate son, Hunter.

Joe's been given practically a free pass on inappropriate touching and sniffing of girls and women.

Hunter has left laptops lying around with sensitive info and the MSM has called it 'Russian disinformation'.

Joe has insisted he has no business links with his son, Hunter, and soon that will be put to the test.

A judge recently refused a sweetheart deal for Hunter that would have allowed him to plead guilty but walk free. Finally, some common sense prevails.

I didn’t know that. I was left with impression that more died when listening to the news. Also insurrection in my post is in quotation marks. All and all though, Trump has s lot of staunch supporters but I don’t think enough to win the election. The bad publicity from the prosecution and the “insurrection” still negatively influenced a lot of average people enough to raise doubt. I’m just guessing.
