aaah, when I say the were in their 70 s I don´t mean the children.....

Watching my mother put a napkin on her head to pray because a baptised 12 year old boy was in the room really pissed me off! I wouldn't put up with my father telling me what to do so you can be assured I wasn't marrying any of the nitwit wanna be elders in my cong.

I would say my "failing to respect proper male authority" was my main reason for leaving.

Even weider than that Aztec....my mom and sisters are not allowed to pray if my Unbaptized brother ( he studies) is in the room. He has to lead the prayers or else....the paper napkins come out.

Harrumph. The WT is not even that good at following the bible. There were women leaders in the early church. Where are they now at Bethel?

From an outsider looking in, a lot of the women at our local KH look bitter and resentful. I heard at a convention that there are a different set of questions for women. Considering they never get to speak to the congregation. Considering they have to keep the time cards the same as the men, and keep house, and raise the kids, no time off for new mothers, I just can not figure out how they keep it all going.

..and someone like me would have no voice at all.

If women aren't even allowed in the NFL, how do we know if they do better than men or not?

Soledad, don't delude the point. You know full well that women wouldn't make it in the NFL. Some things are the way they are for a reason. Women aren't built the way men are and you know it. I for one wouldn't care either way. I'm just saying that there are some things that come natural to both sexes and some things are just exclusive.

The vast, vast majority of men wouldn't, either. One of the students I work with is a former NFL football player. He's huge, and he was one of the offensive line, if I remember correctly, so he's not that big for an NFL player.

Most men couldn't physically do what a balerina does. Neither could most women. Before you laugh, go find out what it takes to be a top ballet dancer (if you don't already know)...ballet (the topflight type that would be comparable to the NFL) can be physically punishing and brutally painful. And they have to smile and make it look effortless.

There is a wide range of size, strength and body structure among 'normal' males and females. Some women are bigger and stronger than some men. Using the NFL as an example does not take this into account.

Always had a strong sense of justice, and at 7 years old knew this wasn't it. That was the hardest thing to tolerate: the absolute sense of helplessness in regards to the wants/desires of the males in the Hall and at home. This was *a* major reason I left as soon as I hit the door.

I think a woman could play football and have skills just as well as a man.Why not have a all womans football team....comeon soooo many men would love to women fighting over a ball.When I was in HS,a girl got on the football team.I have no idea what to call them,but she was the best kicker on the team and she did very well over all.She was in the paper and many people complained that a girl was on the team and felt it would stop other players playing to full pointial because they were nervous to hurt her....lol...she probely could hurt one of the boys just as much.lol Seriously tho,I don't think she was allowed to tackal(sp) and she had to leave the team because she is a female.

I don't think it has anything to do with a woman counldn't play football...its true most woman are weaker than a man and it would be difficult for a woman to be plowed into from a huge man.There is probley some woman out there that could beat the poo poo out of a man on the feild....lol I could always catch a football and throw one quite well... But ,I don't think I would want to see a heard of 200 pound + men running my way to tackal me to the ground.It would make me run like the roadrunner thats for sure.
