Random Task,
You said it, I believe it!
I will not ever devote myself to any other religion, EVER.
I don't need to belong to a certain religion, and if you believe the bible, it doesn't tell you that you need to.
I at times will go to a non-denominational church, and I have enjoyed that.
But I will not join another organized religion.
Church of Jesus Christ of Common Sense.
I'm an atheist so don't ask me. I may lead you astray...

Hedonist Church of Baccus.
The cult of minimus looks interesting.
Hi Michalea,
I am a Christian now and I don't believe for a minute that there is only one right religion in the way that the jw's taught. The truth is Christ and members of His body are in many different churches. We are born of the spirit and Christ lives in us. There are plenty of churches that seem dull or ?? but there are also individual people that you can see Christ in. The love is what is important. I lean toward non-denominational churches but that's just me. I used to go to a Baptist church but I noticed extra rules ie: no dancing, tithing as rule, no wine, etc.. I think that gathering together is important for upbuilding one another. I fail to see why some Christians pick at others about attending church every Sun am, pm and Wed. I do not see it as a commandement of God but I do see it as legalistic and man made. It is a great thing to do if you want to but I do not see it as mandatory and I get very upset with those who think that perfect attendance is more important than our daily walk. I am still looking for a church like that. When I find it, I'll feel at home. imo, most of the Protestant churches teach the gospel that Christ taught and that is most important. I wish that the people would quit judging with a school like mentality calling role call. I relate to what you said about making friends. Christians who were never in a cult like the jw's cannot relate to us no matter how hard they try. I wouldn't wish the experience on them either!! They seem to have had it so much easier and can't see the things that could make us concerned but because of that fact, I find them refreshing. Clueless, yes but refreshing nontheless.. It isn't easy to make friend after being in a cultlike mentality for so long but give it time!! Remember the bible says that to make friends we have to show ourselves friendly. (((((((((hugs to you)))))))) dj
I am so burned out on religion I doubt I'll ever join another one.
I took one of those just-for-fun internet surveys and it said I was Mainstream Liberal Christian.
I'm much more interested in spirituality and having a relationship with God, as I understand him than ever being part of a rule-oriented church.
I found a site simple-wisdom.com. It is written by a guy named Irwin Kulus, a jewish rabbi. I heard him speak one sunday on jewish TV, and i was really impressed.
Mainly he said, get off your knees praying and help others. he said spiritually is our connection with other people. I liked the idea or serving others. It truly is what jesus preached about, love and serving others. I find i don't need a rule book now, just love for others. B/c if u have love, u don't need a set of rules. If jws were able to get this message across to their people, they would have a lot less JC meetings.
I think sometime i should go back to the KH.. Everytime i have those thoughts, another thougjht quickly pops in my head directing me otherwise. I'm taking that as answers to my prayers. I think God is not direcitng me back to the KH, but to pray and help others. ther is no hell, no big A and all we have is now. We should try and enjoy this life and help others who are less fortunate.
i took the belief test and scored 100% for bahi fatih, but after reading it, don't agree. I scored high on reform judism.
