    Hey another closed mind...

Did you get this site off my profile in the yahoo jw chatroom?

If not, come in sometime and I will directly answer your questions, on microphone. You 'game'?

Incidently, what is drawing you back to that ROT anyway? If it isn't your precious family nucleus, what could it possibly be?

    BE HONEST!

    If you can.

The reason why I didn't leave for the longest time, I feared Armageddon and the destruction that would befall me. It has been almost three years since I've left and my life could not be more satisfying and rewarding. I feel I can breadth. I no longer feel trapped. As for Armageddon and fear of being destroyed. Oh well. I figure, since day one when my family became associated with the borg back in the 70s. We always had the fear of displeasing God because of the consequences it would bring. That fear only grew worse with the years. I strongly believe that was the main reason my family continued going to the meetings. For fear. That is not a good reason to worship God.

    AOVP-

It seems you are fishing. Do you have some other scenario in mind that you would like to comment on? If so, just throw it out there.

OBVIOUSLY, most here feel that family and association are the reasons to stick around or fade slowly. Just because you "can't believe" there is no other reason doesn't mean that there is another reason.

You asked the question. You got the answer.

Some people actually love their family and friends enough to stay longer than they want to. You don't seem to be in that group, but so be it. To each their own. I don't much appreciate my hypocritical family either.

    My 2 cents worth.

Then you will not make a very good JW.

Why do you say this? Explain.

    SF -

At what point do you feel that you had the opprotunity to judge me or anyone else in this room? Closeminded... how so? and with what inclination have I shown such behavior?

Found this site because of you? GTF outta here! Ive never even been to such a room. I stubled accross this site when I read an article on a "bible diet" on cnn.com, and found a thread about the author of that book was expressing JW views and thus I continued reading. How stuck on yourself are you really?

Get on a mic with you? On what account, you have yet to challenge my intelligence to avail me to do such a thing.

Why am I finding myself going back now? As I stated before, through my search, this is the point where I have come to find myself, tommorow may bring something different, but as of now, I am still continuing my search, I am still DF'ed.... am I working on reinstatement... not at all... When and if I feel myself pulled to ask for such a thing I will, but not at this current moment in time. Right now, through going to many different churches and evaluating my own placement in thier beliefs, I find myself giving the KH one more chance with a different point of view, another open point of view.

To those who say that they feel trapped...

Do you feel as though there is a god? Do you feel that that god wants you to feel trapped? Do you feel that if you trust in that god that it will deliver you through that trial?

Stay open minded, not only question your beliefs, but also question yourself to wonder why you are even questioning in the first place, what answer are you seeking.

You must know the direction that you are going in before you get there.

Stay open minded, not only question your beliefs, but also question yourself to wonder why you are even questioning in the first place, what answer are you seeking.

That's why you won't make a good JW. You can't be open-minded, question your beliefs, yourself or the source of those beliefs if you want to remain in good standing as a JW. Another thing, if you want to remain in good standing, you can't post here. Or even read. Apostates frequent this site and post apostate views. JWs are to avoid apostates and apostate views like the plague.

I personnally agree with your qoute above. I welcome you to the site as you question the beliefs and are looking for answers. Just know that if you try to return as a JW, you will be stripped of this freedom. They will try to break you and program you into their fold as they see fit. Be forewarned.

Well, well, well! How you doing youngster? May I simply start off by saying: Been there, done that before you were born. Do you understand young person?

To answer your questions please think about this: Jehovah has plans that his loyal servants are currently in the process of doing. No, you and the elders would not understand and the GB have dishonored Jehovah and his son Jesus Christ, therefore, "the GB" is not involved!

Many surprises are in the works as we type on this computer. surfice to say: when the time is right............God's time that is.......................

It is going to be an interesting future! I guarantee it!!

    Lots of warm Christian Love....................

E-mail me if you wish, the decision is always yours because of FREE WILL.

I'd say that family considerations make up over 90% of the reasons that people choose to stay "in". It seems that way from the posts I've read and my own experiences and observations. Frankly, besides family and/or friends, I can't think of many reasons that one might stay. I think a lot of jws are are still in and still active, and who never have even seen this board or similar ones, are "in" for the same reason. I don't think many of them 'enjoy the religion much at all outside the friendships they make and the social aspects of it.

Oh, no one doubts that Mr Kim... it will be an interesting future.

But, for you to claim stake as if you know and/or judge others ... that my friend is not open mindedness, and thus is the worst kind of closemindedness.

    ----

Also to address wether or not I will make a good JW... thats not what I am looking for... again I am still DF'ed and I will decide when and where my path will take me... but if I choose to be a witness of Jehovah and rejoin that organization, at that time, it will have its meaning.

Is that a 'no', emphatically, to the mic inquiry?

Hey, you can sit and type all the bullkrap you want to me in response to my post. I don't want to sit here and do the same with you when getting you in voicechat will be much more productive.

Watchtower, the org you are seeking to be re-instated back into, is a lethal machine. It chews lives and families up and then spits them out. It KEEPS holding onto, through twisted doctrine, lethal policies to innocent children. It harbors rapists and child molesters throughout many of it's congregations. It sleeps with the Enemy daily. Yet...

You want to 'seek' your way back in.

    Why??

Give us a real reason this time, just as you keep prodding and probing here to do for you re: why some stay in.

WHY DO SOME WANT BACK IN?

Answer that! Honestly. What is the ultimate f.e.a.r. that resides within you to even consider joining hands with Them again...BY CHOICE (this time)??

Oh, you don't need messenger to chat or put my on a friends list. But you knew that already, didn't you?

Oh, and I reserve the right to judge anyone I feel needs to 'be' judged. How 'bout you let me judge you on mic? hahahaha
