SP.... I'm totally exhausted reading your post.. think I'll go get an iced tea. Don't be scared, the more familiar you become with your surroundings the better you'll feel. Keep thinking positive, expecting good things to come, and you'll be surprised. Glad you made it safe.

That was an adventure! To all those who knock SUVs, there's a textbook case of why you need one to pull a trailer...100 degree heat needs tranny oil cooler for sure, extra-capacity rad, and, all that good stuff like A/C so you don't have to add to the 100 degrees with 130 coming out of your blower! Jeez, if I was down there, I would have hauled you across country myself...

It's not much better back here...91 today, 94 yesterday...although HOPEFULLY a front comes soon to break the back of this heat

But, at least I can jump into my nice work truck to cool off...and she don't feel a thing when hauling a half-ton around!

You'll probably appreciate Florida more in November to March, where it is much nicer and not so bloody humid... and we freeze to death up here with our toilet-seat temperature changes

I know what you mean by running the heater to keep the motor cool, it's no fun. I had a Pontiac that had a bad radiator and I had to do the same thing comming home from the cost. I got rid of that thing.

Well, now that you are there I hope things go better and your new home will meet all your expectations. The last time I was in Florida was in 1957 on my honeymoon with my first wife, we attended an assembly. My mother, aunt, two first cousins and a friend had a car wreak(all in the same car) on the way to the assembly and it killed two catholic nuns in the car that hit them head on. Someone came to our motel and told us and we spent most of our honeymoon visiting them in different hospitals.

Don't know why I'm telling you my history, I just ment to give you my best wishes for a good stay in Florida.

OH, one more thing. Be sure you post your street address in Orlando so we can all drop in one day and keep you company. I have a brass plate for your front door that says 'Orlando Hilton - S & J Pantz, Prop'

    Can't wait to see you.

Glad you made it to Mickey's! Sounds like you had a very Disney adventure. When I'm not roving about the earth seeking to devour someone I live in ST. Pete. Once your settled in I would love to treat y-all to dinner. Maverick

Hey Sweetie! Glad you made it safely!

Ditch the Cutlass NOW! You're about to have a blown head gasket if you don't have one already. Chances are you had a leaking head gasket when you bought the car. Check the coolant and the oil dipstick. If I'm right, you'll see coolant in the oil or vice versa. If you don't see it now, you will.

    Mike.

Hey, Stinky...My son lives in West Palm Beach. He'd love to hook up with fellow 'un-believers'. If you'd like phone number, just ask.
