I'll confess to being fascinated with the concept of Satanism since I was a teen, but not fascinated enough to follow through on it. It's too much for me.

Just curious...what do you consider to be Satanism? At least, what's your idea of becoming a Satanist as your religion?

If you think that the JWs have their act all mixed up, try finding a Satanic church that has it's own story straight. Depending on which one you go to, you'll hear something different. Who really knows how to worship Satan anyway?

If you really want to walk down that path, you're better off joining a Voodoo/Santeria cult. At least the followers are more in touch with the traditions and practices.

Well of course. You have just stated a truth, my son. However, in truly serving yourself, satan would need to take second place, wouldn't he? If satan is a symbol to help you do that, fine. Remember also, that you are a part of the universe, and the meta/universe is not satanic. It is neutral.

i totally respect your right to go and worship whoever you want. but i wouldnt be so quick to judge christianity by JW's or any organised religion. organised religion is there to control and manipulate in pursuit of power and money, part of satan's system if you like. in this world 'the ideal' is to look out for your own interests, and thats why the world is full of stife and viloence. surely 'the ideal' is to look out for other peoples interests, and as they look out for ours, we all win.

Why does anybody believe anything without no proof of their existance? Not one God, or devil, or angel has said, or performed for anyone ever! Yet people will believe and worship something that will not speak or appear. Their supposed gods only have looney birds who say they speak for them.

You don't need Satanism to do what you want. You can do them and you can realise common horse-sense, boundries in doing them which if defied, will cause you or others problems and if you do that then your a bad boy.

In the WT we see Satan doing everything in the world and God doing nothing. I think that JWs are the only christian group who doesn't believe in miracles (although they do believe that saying "Jehovah" will solve all their "demonic" problems). I guess being raised as a JW and learning how Satan has all the power in the world one would be attracted to that power. BTW doesn't the whole Black Mass make you think... i mean Satanists aren't mocking WT "the memorial" but mainstream Christianity.
