It’s taken a day for it to sink in on me that by using the term “infighting”, ComingOutaMyCage imagines that “we” here on this forum thread are in some mutual group with “Lloyd Evans”. Mmmm. No. Bra-ha-ha-ha.

As a reader of his book I’ll opine that both can be true at the same time. This is just how the mind of Lloyd Evans works.
I think he genuinely feels stuck in that marriage when his real fantasy was to bang as many as he could, and now he’s trying to make up for lost time.
As he put it in his livestream, he’s trying to deal with his “fucked up situation” and he feels that Dijana’s limitations as a sexual device for him has sexually frustrated him. Whatever happens after that is completely not his fault.
Since he had admitted to 3-4 years of paying for sex, it probably didn’t immediately raise alarm bells regarding Thailand as he had already normalised the practice in his own head.
The reason why he’s so irritated at Kim and everyone else is because he got caught after the fact and he did not realise how bad of a look that was until pointed out to him. In true vintage Lloyd fashion, he’s pushing back on that as hard as he can without ever stopping to reflect on his actions, the Thailand sex trafficking angle and is working non-stop to save what has become his business.
I think he understands it now, and is intentionally choosing not to see.

I think it's a bit of both. It is clear that he does not think that his use of sex workers disqualifies him from being involved in efforts to confront organizations that have tried to suppress evidence of CSA in their ranks. I think he is also trying to make prostitution seem like a victimless crime, at least where his own activity is involved.
Neither of those views makes me think that he is qualified to take part in efforts to get justice for those who have been victims of sexual abuse. But he may not care, at least until such time as he is forced to confront his actions and his attitudes.

Something else to think about (writing fiction helps me get inside other people's heads).
We all have a story about ourselves, and no one is the bad guy in their own story. I've had to deal with my inner bad guy, it is neither easy nor comfortable. But the process leads to being a better person. It is also not something you can do alone, that leads to deluding yourself into thinking that you've conquered your problems. Having another person, such as a therapist to call you out from time to time is critical to being honest with yourself.
So far, I don't see any sign of this happening here.

In his book, he talks about sexting with girls (his word) while he was still an MS or elder. Being a JW didn't really present a problem for him. Having his wife find some of his text messages was an inconvenience, though.
