@Joe Grundy
Some powerful hymns in your repertoire Joe. Amazing Love, performed at the Royal Albert Hall in 2013 was phenomenal. Never make it to the Kingdom Hall because of the words, "that Christ my God would die for me"
@Barry as well..."Guide me O Thou great Jehovah" would be banned because it equates Jehovah with the bread of heaven (Jesus)in the first verse.. Some substitute Redeemer for Jehovah to make things fit.
I loved Cerys Matthew's voice and was grateful for the added English text.
Thank you.

@Jhine
We sang the Green Hill song once in our church because one of our elders loves it. But only once because we could not seem to get the music right. Lovely song though.

@Diogenesister,
I love just about everything that Johnny Cash sang. You are right about The Old Rugged Cross being rejected outright.

Absolutely triumphant rendition of "Land of Hope and Glory". Gives you goosebumps.
Nixed from the hall for patriotism and flag waving.

I found myself tapping the floor and seeing an imaginary Gomer Pyle and Sargent Carter marching and smiling.

LOL...no doubt the Kingdom Hallers would appreciate this armed forces medley.

@ Barry,
In my estimation, Holy, Holy, Holy, is the most perfect hymn ever written in the English language. I'm quoting someone btw but I've forgotten who.
