Seems to me the cute Shaker song could fit nicely after the listen, obey and be blessed Kingdom Hall chorus.
Turn Your Radio On is an old Goldie evangelical piece that preceded the invention of television.and celibrates the excitement over the power of radio to reach the masses with the gospel.
Catchy tune makes you want to sing along.

@Janine,
A little puzzled here as to why "He died to save us all" would be a problem for Evangelicals or for JWs. Can you elaborate?

@Barry
Re.Jerusalem, Jerusalem...talk about an angelic voice. Probably would be nixed by the WTS for its emphasis on Jerusalem which they say is of no import today.
A moving rendition of Mary, Don't You Know. I believe our tastes in music are guite similar Barry. Of course "kissing the face of God and the reference identifying Jesus as the I Am...would asolutely disqualify this one from ever finding it's way into the Hall.

Don't the rank and file believe that Jesus is only the " personal Saviour " of the 144,000 and that they are saved through association with them ? Perhaps l have misunderstood this , their doctrine does get complicated .

@ Jhine,
Sorry for taking so long to respond. Didn't see your post until this morning.
I could be wrong here but I do believe that JWs see Jesus as Savior of the world, directly of the anointed and perhaps indirectly and conditionally of the Great Crowd...and ultimately of the masses in their memorial tombs.
Perhaps others could comment on this subject. Might actually be worth starting a new thread.

Welsh hymn from the 1904 revival. Lovely in thought and sound.
