Since the wife is a dub, I'll be losing money again on the 49ers at a friends house eating turkey and drinking beer, ....and beer,...... and then eating more turkey until I'm a tad sick, then I'll go home and take a 4 hour nap.

(GASPS!) Gumby!!! What if Micky D's is servin' McTurkey Burgers?!?!?!?!

whul...I sure hope you get somethin to eat besides just turkey and beer, dude! That'd make me sick, too...blech....I mean, if yer gonna take a 4 hr nap anyway, why not make it a sugar coma from indulging in 9 kinds of pies, cakes and other assorted sugary treats?!?!?!?!

some people do tofurkey, but i think it looks gross....i dont kick up much fuss for thanksgicing, i'm not much of a food person or a football person anyways. i'd rather have two halloweens and no thanksgiving =)

I'm moving into a new place next weekend, so my woman wants to have it there. I really could care less, as long as I get a day off work.

Nos (tapping foot)....this sounds to me like you don't care as long as you don't hafta DO anything.......(j/k) yep...it's a day to relax....what d'ya think your woman will cook up for the feast?

I had the same thought as Swan, that Frannie has invited us all to her place for T-Day. She's a really good cook from what I've heard. So whaddya say Frannie? Could you stand a few hundred guests?

(GASPS!!!) It's a bald-faced lie....that's what it is!!!....I can't cook worth a sheeeet....but....should I win the lottery, I will book seating for all JWD posters on other continents and from other U.S. states on a Concorde....and fly EVERYONE on JWD down to Texas for a humongous normal people BBQ, crawfish, beer and wine fest.....howzat?....We'll do it somewhere around mid-Texas and transpo, hotel rooms and eats will be my treat....then everyone can meet everyone else on JWD....

LOL, Tink!!! Tofurkey sounds positively tofuked up....as for two Halloweens?...just make sure you don't wear a turkey costume on either one of 'em...eh?

Turkey and all the trimmings, Nos!!! How wonderful! Do yall have pecan, pumpkin and sweet potato pies and cakes and cranberry sauce and candied yams with toasted marshmallows & brwn sugar pecans on top and hot buttered rolls and mashed potatoes and corn on the cob and green bean casserole and Waldorf Salad and cornbread dressing w/giblet gravy and dirty rice and and deviled eggs .....and all that shtuff like we do down here?
