Frannie, this is a lovely topic and I'm sorry it devolved onto an "Aztec for dessert" sidepath....LOL!
My son and I will probably go down to Detroit's America's Thanksgiving Day Parade in the morning and spend a quiet afternoon watching the Lions (YAY) and eating a decent meal. I've made Turkey the last few years but there's always so much leftover that I think we'll stick to something smaller like Cornish game hens. I really like wild rice stuffing too! If I can afford it I'll make sherried oyster and brie soup as a starter, my delicious garlic dill mashed potatoes and a cherry pie to finish it off. Okay, I'm already salivating!
