I KNOW that a CO told me he was banished to Buffalo NY because he ticked off a few very important Society people. After 4 long snowy winters he was relieved to go to sunny California. I've seen the CO's refer to the DOs as "their boss". Looking at 60 year old men trying to impress 45 year old DOs is just too strange.

My mother just told me that the CO also said that if a person marries out of the Lord, they may not get disfellowshipped right now but when Armageddon comes, God will judge them as being dead.
I'll be holding my breath. Really.
When Armageddon comes?
(Echoing laughter! Why the echo? Because nobody else is in the I Believe In Armageddon Revival Tent, and I only wandered in while drunk...)

Blondie ---- no they have a schedule to keep and it allows for 2 weeks of vacation, 2 visits to each hall, one week for DC, 2 weeks for the Pioneer school and one week for the Assembly. Senior CO's get the 'senior circuits' which is why California, Florida, etc have the elderly co's and do's.

Now that the CO is leaving, I expect to get the elders to vigourously inquire of me. "We need to know where you've been. The Circuit Overseer instructed us to check on you to see if there's anything we can do to get you to come back to Jehovah. We miss you, too, by the way. you know we love you and your family and care for you. Now, will you come back? The Circuit Overseer told the congregation that we are so low in attendance that 'we cannot afford to lose one more person.' So please come back."
