Please read again what I posted and don't get caught in the mire of what Caspian might or might not have done, that wasn't my issue. You are comparing my reasoning on that basis.

It is I who have insisted from the start on seperating the Caspian affair from your assertions, so please do not try to muddle the issue by pretending otherwise. I am not 'comparing your reasoning on that basis', as my question, which you have not answered, asking whether you feel that everybody on this planet who feels that they have been 'duped' is just suffering from a bruised 'ego'. An obviously nonsensical stance to take, yet one that you have taken. Your stand would make more sense if you *were* just dealing with Caspian and what goes on on this Board, but you claim you are not.

I'm seeing the same thing here. I can remember so many fawning over Caspain, male and female whilst he was posting his stuff. I never answered to any of his threads. The reason you see so much vitreole now from the pack is that they feel they have been duped.

Thats why the backlash is so hard now, its to deflect the "I've been had" and I never saw it coming stuff. It dented alot of Ego's.

I questioned your opinions as they are fatally flawed as you seem to be realizing yourself. Furthermore you link dented 'ego ' with arrogant pride, so you did not use the term 'ego' in the sense you are *now* attempting to in your latest post, and you well know that.

I see your "Ego" more prominent than others here.

Ahh! Might I ask in which sense of your home-made defintions you are *now* using the term 'ego'.... Scoob, you need to show more respect for other peoples opinions by not trying to pass yours off as great truths. They are not.

Well personally I think scobber held his own quite well with the male moderator with the sissy name.

Suppose you were watching a television show that was documenting a story of a guy like caspian. He did, and said, and apologized, in the same manner caspian did. How many of you kindhearted moderators out there would be on the bad TV guys side? Would you hope that he got help and be sad that he was being picked on by people he snowed, and lied to?

I don't think your heart would go out like it is here. It goes out here because he was a witness and you feel stronger for these types than someone who is not. Is that a good thing or not? I'll let someone else answer.

1st----Scooby, don't play with Hillary unless you want to be exposed as a ninny....Hey, ya like that one? Next, some of the mods and a few others, too, are trying to give Brother Caspian the benefit of the doubt that he didn't mean to do everything he did but is really a victim. All I know is that if I royally screw up, I want these people to be there for me.....I don't get the impression Hillary is too supportive of Caspian.....Some persons just would rather chalk it ip to bad history----being a JW. The problem here is, a few people seem to want to believe the fraud. They want to believe that the things he did was because he was getting out of the religion. I simply don't believe anything he says. I think the Prince is insincere. He loves attention and runs away from confrontation. I believe he was an elder or is still possibly one. He is nothing but a fraud as were his imaginary friends.

I would only oppose a person like Caspian if I thought that they endangered the welfare of others and perhaps this is why some have become heated in this issue, not for the sake of dented ego, but they may not like to see others feelings trifled with. Apart from that if a person comes on the Board and pretends to be Ted Jaracz' long and lean mistress machine, good luck to them.

As an aside, I am no longer a moderator. The moderator signature under my profile does however allow me access to the administrators section as Simon has hired me as a consultant, and as he pays well I work hard.

FYI: "Prince Caspian" is the name of a character out of a children's series, The Chronicles of Narnia by CS Lewis. The second book is actually called "Prince Caspian". Caspian was the rightful king of Narnia, and when he learned the truth had to fight his uncle for the throne.

I think the Caspian character appears in another book as well, when he set out on a grand mission/adventure. The book, The Voyage of the Dawntreader, is one of my son's favorites.

(I've never known anyone named Caspian before, so I automatically thought of this character when "Cas" first posted.)
